1:An affirmation starts with " I am ..."
2: Avoid using the word "not". State your affirmation in the positive.
3: Say it as if it is happening now. State it in the present.
4: Keep it as short as possible.
5:Your affirmation must be specific. State exactly what it is you want.
6: An affirmation includes an action verb ending in -ing. eg: driving, attending etc.
7: An affirmation has a feeling word in it.
8: All your affirmations should be about yourself, your own behavior and achievements and not somebody else's.
