SFI has made some very interesting changes to their pay plan, commissions chart, how you go up in rank to earn more income.
VersaPoints are an update to the power rank points they started in January 2009.
You still don't need to buy anything yourself to earn points to get to higher profit levels.
You need to earn at least 500 VP to get to the first profit level but you get 400 just for confirming your e-mail and logging in the first time.
1,500 VP gets you to the old equivalent of Executive Affiliate.
Now you can earn VP from just about any combination of selling, buying, sponsoring, and other activities.

Hi Ian,
Good points there, my only concern with the new system is that you have to reach 3,000 Versapoints every single month or you will be downgraded back from BTL which I am now to EA.
I will be interested to see what my commissions are for September because with the old system I would have been GTL by now and it doesn't matter how many EA's you have in your downline you still have to hit the 3000.
The great thing about the new system is that it loads your frontend much better in favour of new EA's because it makes it much easier for them to upgrade.

Hi Mal,
Over the last year or so I have noticed that personal commissions have been going down. But that being said now there are a lot of cool new features that encourage new sign-ups.
Any business is about making sales so if you want to make a higher percentage of money from sales you should have to buy stuff/services from your own business.
I only worry about getting my 1500 Versapoints each month and I can do that with buying one product.
I do think you get about 150 VP for each EA you have in your first level so you would need about 10 EA to get to BTL now. But you can lessen that by personally buying 2000VP worth of product/services.

Hi Ian,
It is a bit confusing I must admit but I think you only get recognition for exisiting EA's in your Power Rank points and new EA's get you 100 points each.
What I do is purchase 10X $1.99 vouchers from my TC store and this gives me the guaranteed 1500 VP's I need to keep EA status. After that it can be a challenge to get the remaining 1000 - 1500 every month from recruitment, sending group messages, EyeEarn, daily visits to your VP site etc etc and last month I only just made it.
I am not happy about doing this every month because I think Gery Carson is trying to become another eBay or Amazon and meanwhile my bonuses have gone down and down so he should think about existing members a bit more I think.

Hi Mal,
Yes you do get 100 for each EA but you also get 30VP I think for every person in your level 1 that has 600 or more VP themselves. Also you get a extra VP for TL in your level one. So an estimate of 150VP is not that off.
Existing members can now earn the co-sponsorships if they get in the top 300 each month. This I believe is where our extra money is now going to reward the people doing the work and building a team. I earn over 400 co-sponsorships last month and that earned me an extra $24/month is income (only 5 we EA) but I got back much of the money I was losing from lowering income over of the last year.
And I think by helping new people build a team and make a bit of money in the first month does help the current members. Now we should have a higher upgrade level in our downlines...more EAs among new sign-ups means more excitement means less people giving up.
