Credit Cards in Beta!
Of the many new products we have on the horizon, we're excited to finally bring the first one to you! Although the official launch of our credit card line won't happen until February 15, we are offering a pilot program to the first 25 agents who express an interest. For more information, please contact me at poborn@commissionriver.com and I'll send you detailed instructions on how to add them to your web site using "PHP include" managed content technology.

Credit Cards Officially Offline
Two weeks ago Patrick received notice that the company processing our credit cards is pulling out of our agreement. This doesn't surprise us given the sensitive nature of the credit card companies and their ultimate fear of online affiliates. Although we're all personally saddened by this development, it comes with the territory. Here at Commission River, we won't stop introducing new product lines and trying new things. Bringing products to the table is what we do, and sometimes, things just don't work out.
Although our credit card line is now gone for good, Patrick has received word that all sales made for the short time we were offering them will be paid. Look for them on the next commission run.

Update on Credit Cards
After many weeks of discussions, I was able to get our credit card program turned back on. However, there are many things that we will be doing differently this time around. Below I've listed a few ways the new credit card program is different than ALL of our other product lines:
- RiverOffers.com and our credit card XML plugins will only work for agents who have been approved.
- We will be setting up a training program that will enable you to apply for approval in the next 1-2 months.
- Right now, approval is not given systematically - so if you don't already have an existing credit card marketing campaign, your chances of getting in are slim until our "Credit Card University" is published.
- To request approval in the meantime, please email your channel manager (Robert or Gene) with your business plan and reasons you deserve to be included in our exclusive pilot program.

Update on Credit Cards
Credit cards are back ON! We have been working very closely with our credit card vendor to ensure that all of the proper procedures are followed so that we do not endanger our relationship with them. Here are the general guidelines that must be followed if you'd like to market credit cards:
- All orders must come from your RiverOffers.com web site.
- You cannot display any credit card content (interest rates, promotions, etc) on your own web sites. RiverOffers.com is the only web site approved to have such data.
- You cannot use the names of credit card issuers (Visa, MasterCard, Discover, AMEX, etc.) in any pay per click advertising. You may use these term in hyperlinks (to riveroffers.com) on your own web sites.
- You are not allowed to sign up people offline and then type in their information into riveroffers.com. The end-users must sign up themselves through the web.
Again, just to reiterate, you can make up to $100 for each business credit card that you are able to sell through riveroffers.com. All previous sales will be paid out on this upcomming commission run. Your credit card link is:
