Hey Brandon!
It's only once in a blue moon that I see someone from Waxahachie. Are you familiar with the now defunct Superconducting Super Collider?
I was co-op engineer on that project for two six month terms in 1992 and 1993. Of course '93 was when congress decided to cut funding on the project and fund the space station project instead.
That was both a strange and exciting time to be there. Exciting when it was being built - strange when the funding stopped and you had the top engineers and physicists in the world sitting in their cubicles writing resume's or playing solitaire.

P.S. For those not familiar - the SSC was a high energy physics experiment being built by the U.S. gov't just outside of Waxahachie. The main feature was to be a 54 mile underground ring of superconducting magnets that were to direct proton beams to collision.
