Sports League, that is. I posted this elsewhere in the forums but thought I should include it here for those that just stop by to keep up on the Vitamark happenings.
I was talking to a fellow yesterday who seemed to talk about his Fantasy Football League all the time. I think they look like an awful lot of fun but seemed so time consuming I never really got interested in them. Then he mentioned he got into a network marketing company through someone he met after an online trading session or something.
It turns out he typed something in about a personal issue and later that night someone shot him an email about their service. He looked into it and joined. I laughed at him noting that he barely had time between his job and "playtime" to spend anytime with his family and now he's added an NWM business and asked him how come he spends more tme talking about Fantasy Leagues (did I menton three?) than his business.
I was dumbfounded when he told me that it's his icebreaker and that through his Fantasy connections he's sponsored 6 people since the beginning of the season and has 28 people in his group.
It just goes to show that some of the least likely places to conduct business can be the most profitable. One person was paying attention to the conversation around him and sponsored my buddy (Oh I tried. He just wasn't interested in the Health and Wellness biz.). Through that one exchange of information his sponsor has nearly 30 new people in his group and has advanced 2 pin levels adding several hundred a month to his bonus checks.
It may be too late to get into the NHL season but does anybody have any Fantasy Basketball leagues they want to recommend?
