Article marketing is one of the best online free marketing methods yet many people do not profit from it to the degree that they can and should. Here are three things you need to do every day in order to experience maximum article marketing success:
Brainstorm new ideas. I am always carrying a pen and paper with me everywhere I go and I write down dozens of new ideas every day. Some of the ways I think of new ideas include: movies, quotes, books, newspaper articles, road signs, animals, songs on the radio, top ten lists, headlines in magazines, conversations with people and more. Not every idea I write down actually becomes an article but it helps a lot to never run out of ideas by writing down every idea that comes to my mind, whenever it enters my head. Spend a few minutes doing keyword research and reading articles that others have written. I get lots of good ideas from other articles. You should never copy the article but you can get ideas from others. One of the best ways to do this is to ask yourself what questions you have after reading the article or what else about the topic you wish you knew and then turn these into an article or maybe even a series of articles. Write a new article. Depending upon your schedule and if you also work a job, you may need to instead write many articles at once, one day a week, but the principle is to be always writing.

| I've used that same approach with great success. Constantly look for ideas from other marketing approaches and take notes as you find the ones that catch your eye. It is amazing how much and how fast we will forget if we don't take notes. Sometimes I review so much and find great ideas, but without taking notes, I review so much there is no way to stay up with it all.

I know a lot of people who use the same technique. Some people even have a pen and paper on their bedside just in case an idea comes up in the middle of the night or before sleeping.
Another effective technique for article marketing is to always have fun in writing the article so the readers also enjoy reading it.

| I always forgot those great ideas that I see around, or even when I think of them. Taking a pen and paper along with me is a great idea. I did resort to putting notes on my cell but they don't work that great because you can't draw pictures on your cell.

One thing that has really helped me build an amazing business was to subscribe to several RSS feeds of people I looked up to, and view them all on Google Reader.
Once I had a good collection I would read the different posts or articles they wrote to get new ideas an inspiration.

Very helpful tips, what I also don and get a lot of ideas from is by watching TV and reality shows, if you watch carefully a lot of new trends show up on those shows.
Even write articles on the shows themselves.

Powerful tips. I have to agree that having a way, a system, to record a new idea is wonderful. I also find that I get a lot of idea's from seeing what other people have put up. You can read an article or watch a video and you might have something to add to it or something to change. Create an article or two on the subject.
I also find that I write an article about anything new that I might learn. This has been a big help for me.

Another idea is to look at article titles! Look at the phrasing and see how enticed you are to read on. Sometimes you can scratch your head too long for content and should just take a step back and think of a title first.
Once you have the title you are on your way!
Also don't forget that all articles can be written in a positive or negative stance; 'Top Ten Tips for Growing Your Business' and 'Ten Timewasters for New Businesses'.

Also, it is a very small part of it, but make sure you check Copyscape before sending out articles. There is nothing worse than DUPLICATE CONTENT.
