In my experience only this 3 are really good authority sites and to post your articles there will give you quality back links to your site.- Ezinearticles

- Article directory

I have been reading pretty much everything written and it all seems like good info. However, being new to article writing, I am still unsure what the article companies are looking for. I spent about 2 hours on my first article thinking it was well written and very grammatically correct, but it was turned down by ezinearticles because they thought it was too much like a sales pitch. I wrote it as a how to expose your business on the internet, but I guess it was too much like a sales pitch for them. Does anyone know of any good ebooks concerning the best way to write your articles? Thanks for your help.

I'm new here! I particularly like Ezine Articles.com. Also, another that I use is articlesender.com which goes out to 30,000+ publishers with one submission.

Hey There Philip,
I received an email from ezinearticles just a couple of days ago and they told me to be expecting their quality standards to raise every month. I emailed them after having an article rejected in a particular niche. They told me that they don't accept articles dealing with niche. I scanned their site and found hundreds and hundreds of articles on this very product. When I wrote them back they said they no longer do. Hmph...well ok then. I'll just submit elsewhere.
I've only had a few articles rejected but rather than trying to jump through their hoops and rewrite them to fit their guidelines I simply submit them somewhere else. It's much easier to do.
I use to favor them over all of the others but I'm starting to lean the other direction. I'm doing some testing with Buzzle right now. I was told recently that they are giving better results than ezinearticles now. We shall see.
Oh another thing to think about. the high PR of an article directory won't give as much punch to your site as you might think. That PR is spread out over all of the articles on the site so when you think about it that way, you might be better off getting the link juice from lower PR sites. i don't know that to be a fact but it's something I've been looking into.

Hi Bill,
The directories that I'm familiar with are all free. However, if you want your article to be submitted to multiple directories it will cost ya.
By the way...GO BUCKS!!!!

There is a great site called unique article wizard at http://www.uniquearticlewizard.com. This submits articles for you to hundreds of directories and blogs etc. The articles are written by you. You then rewrite them twice and the unique article wizard arranges all of the variations of the articles. You can end up with hundreds of articles from the original one, and the good thing is they are all unique. The program then submits them to hundreds of sites, directories and blogs. It does cost per month, but the benefits are enormous.

| Philip, I have had a few articles rejected by ezine articles. I do find them to be one of the best because you know your article is good if it gets okd. You should read the guidelines.Sales pitches are a no no, but you can do this in the resource box. Don't be afraid to contact them for more information. The tutorials are also good on ezine articles and if you get their newsletter it will certainly get you on the way. I remember spending hours and hour writing a first article only to be rejected but if you persist you will get there. Hope this helps. Cheers.

That is a great resource. Another one I use is called Traffic-Bug. This will take your article, website, or anthing else you create and create banklinks, submit to directories, submit to RSS directories, and so many other things it is amazing. I have used i for about 2 weeks and this has saved me over 3000 hours of submitting time. Check it out and let me know if it helps you.

Man, there are so many directories that you guy's have all put up it's nuts. This is like a collection of places to submit articles too.

Hi everyone, I have not posted in a minute, but i have been busy on a free things one of those is setting up an article directorym that i hope you all will utilize.
It has not gone live as there are a few things i need to sort out. This directory will be a member of articletrader and also Isnare it,once i finish the minor tweaks.

I will be adding more categories once i figure out this issue of why i can't seem to collapse the ones on the front page. So use this time to practice your article marketing.
