Thats a good idea...

Now, let me get to work and pen it down.

Compile the articles and put it into a single report

Hi, I have been writing articles for about 18 months, mainly on investment property. I have found that ideamarketers is one of the best article sites to use. If you are short on cash - aren't we all - you can enter your article for free. You can always bid ( up to about $50) for top position which gets picked up by many syndicators. I often have 'battles' with Willie Crawford for top slot. My google ratings have gone up, and if you do a google search on say geoff morris property, geoff morris pensions, geoff morris money, you will find me in the top 3 - 5 most of the time thanks to my articles posted everywhere.

Hi, Yes, article writing IS a long term strategy, but start NOW - keep it going , with at least one article a week - or more - but after 12 weeks or so, guess what? You will have a continuous list of traffic to your site. Once you have you pipeline, success is yours.

If you can't or don't want to write your own articles, join a PLR site like Article Underground, and have more articles than you can handle...

Hi Sherman,

Yes. And I absolutely missed your presence in
those leadership gatherings. Please come more
often and I need a fellow marketer to be there
with me making candid comments too.

Hi geoff,

I understand your sharing and I've never really thought
of it you know - bidding for the top spot.

The point you made is very valid too.

I have to confess...  I'm not very disciplined in writing at
least 1 article a week. :D

During the next few weeks I'll be designing a 3 month
plans on writing a set of article to build my pipeline strategy.

I also write articles on a regular basis and have found it to be very useful. I agree that you need to do it consistently, once a week at least. I use ArticleMarketer.com. There is a small fee involved, but it is well worth it. The tell you what is wrong, if anything, how to correct it, distribute it to I can't tell you how many publishers, etc. It is a great way of advertising, plus offering others helpful hints, advice.

Is it possible for someone to do article marketing when don't consider yourself much of a writer and really have no idea what to say? I generate leads with google adwords, ezines and blogs, but have heard article marketing is a great way to generate leads. It is also free, isn't that correct?

Hi, Randy. You can do it yourself for free, but it takes a LOT of time to submit your articles by hand to directories. (There are thousands). I use Articlemarketer.com. Like I said there is a small fee involved $29.95, (I think that was for several articles) but they will submit your article to hundreds of directories for you. They will also tell you what is wrong with your article, how to correct it, etc. Check it out. It has been very beneficial for me. Great exposure!

Hi Randy,

you can choose to write your own article worth
about 300-400words and then submit it to certain
article directories.

However, the best thing is that you would be better
off being able to start becoming a renowed expert and then
ensure that it is being done at a fast pace by outsourcing
the work that you need to get done.

Cheers,

Vern

Here is what I am finding.

EzineArticles.com and AssociatedContent.com are 2 of the best at getting an article indexed right away. I have written articles and had the link to the article on page one of Google in less than 2 days twice in the past week.

I have used and still use ArticleMarketer.com, but I always submit by hand to at least EzineArticles.com

Definitely article is going to get you long term traffic especially if your marketing system has a solid auto responders sign up or capture page.

You still can reap fast result by

1) write more requently,
2) submit to main article directories - I submit my articles manualy to 4 major article directories
3) market your articles to lots of articles publishers - I use ArticleMarketer
4) publish your own articles in your blog or website; put it in your news letter

This will sure boost your results fairly quickly.

One of my business partners have this wonderful statistics: 1 sign up for every 4 articles published.  I think this is pretty good result!

Cheers,

Allan Tan

Mr Jeff Shuman is right. I have the same results.

Do target a good keyword before working on the article though,

because submitting a keyword rich article like "dog" to Ezine won't

go very far with Google.

Instead try, "Dog training schools in Ohio" :)

Hi Annie,

I don't know if you're still reading this but I discovered something about Article marketer. Yes, they help submit your articles automatically but only if you're a very syndicative person. That means if you want your articles to be picked up by many publishers around the world and post it on their website.

When this happens, your title has to be attractive and I felt personally that keyword doesn't really play a part anymore. I mean Google will not index your article because the same one appears all over 400+ directories.

In a sense, you're not really going to aim for ranking but for popularity and the strength of backlinking.

I'll try to post more when I finish running a test I'm doing recently.

Cheers,

Vern

The other thing, though Vern, is getting traffic from the people who actually read your article and not just from search engines. With that in mind I always try to submit a unique version of an article to Article Marketer a couple of times a week.

Hi Jeff,

Roger that.

I found out that it would be best to keep my articles unique and thats the same reason why I'm always writing my own articles. When I have the confidence to pass on the requirements of an article i'm looking for then i will aim to outsource it.

(or rather, I won't keyword spam my articles, don't worry they are still relevant)

Good word on that.

At this moment, I stopped submitting via Article marketer just to see the results of my test.

Cheers,

Vern

P.S. Is what I said true about the Google indexing stuff ?

Yea I am finding that Google will index a unique article with a unique keyword phrase in the title. first and last paragraph, and one time in the body. I now try to keep my keyword density at less than 1% for my primary keyword. Meaning no more than 4 total times in a 400 word article.

Ezines can be good. I used to publish mine every Friday. Now that I blog and email my list to go to my blog I have kind of gotten away from publishing it. I may go back to publishin monthly or something.

Trading articles with another publisher is a good way to get in front of another persons subscriber base without having to buy a solo ad.
