Another great idea is to write your article on your blog, then send an email to your list letting them know they can read the post on your blog.
That will drive large amounts of traffic to your site as well.

One thing I do is set up an autoresponder for each advertising platform I do. This way you can track and see which one is getting the most leads.

My preference is AWeber ... very professional, feature rich, cost effective, ongoing training and resource updates, great customer support.
ConstantContact is not bad either. Others may have their own opinions ... but that's mine.

I believe EzineArticles.com has an RSS feed feature. Check your back office menu for that ... under author tools I think. Just put the script in your autoresponder template. Other ezine directories should have something similar. Maybe not all of them .... but a good number.
I put the RSS feed script in one of my blogs .... and the title and summary show-up automatically with a link to read the rest.

A good article provides great content to the reader. Why not share that with the people on your auto responder list. Also if your articles are on your blog or website provide a link back to your site in your auto responder messages.
