Imagine you want more information on acne or any skin disease, and you log on to the internet and do a popular search on the keyword, and the search engines returns thousands of links with information on acne.

As a researcher or just someone who need information, your best bet will be to read as many articles as possible on that topic. Now, what happens if you notice several articles from a particular writer in skin diseases?

The writer of those articles will be an instant expert before you. Since you are interested in the information, you can easily check out the author resource box of this writer to discover more and possibly act on any recommendation of this person. This can be any services or products offered by this individual.

What if you are this author, what if you belong to any home based business or network marketing opportunity and you churn out good articles on your products, do you think anybody will patronize you? No doubt those who read your articles will.

Below are the usefulness of using good articles to sell your products and services:

Instant expert recognition

When you write several articles on a particular subject, people who read them believe you are an expert, even if you had taken some troubles to get those articles online.

Honestly, if you are not an expert, and you are dedicated enough to make research on a particular topic and publish it online, you achieve a feat, and that is an expert status. It is very commendable and people will reward you for this by reading your articles and following your recommendations.

It is free.

Do you know that traffic that comes from articles you write convert and are more qualified than any paid traffic of any sort? The reason, people who read articles and click through to your byline are people who are really interested in you and what you have to offer. What more can you ask for?

Instant traffic.

As soon as you submit your articles to high traffic websites such as ezine articles and dozens of others, you start getting visitors almost immediately. The tendency for your articles to get you sales depend on how you structure it.

Your target is to get every web visitor to click through to your link as soon as he is done reading your article and you can do this by tactfully drawing the attention of the reader to your author resource box giving away something free in return.

Using this method, you can convert up to 10 - 25% of every person who read your articles to be subscriber and a good percentage will definitely buy your products.

I like this idea of writing articles and becoming known as an expert, but for me it is such an intimidating task at this time.  Have you or anyone else ever used a copywrting service/contractor?  And if so, do you have any that you recommend?  I've seen online that they aren't that expensive, but I wonder what level of quality I would be getting?  Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

ok Teatime,

Here is the deal, you get what you pay for and you can over pay too. Most of the budget (all?) stuff comes from countries like the Philippines or India that has a large English speaking population.

This is ok if you are willing to rewrite or correct the article at least. Their English is not the same as ours. But writing is like anything, the more you do the better you get. I suggest you just take an afternoon and write 4 articles. Of course this can only be done if you know your subject ahead.

The benchmark is 400 to 600 words, a simple page. I bet you have more to share than you even know. Just try, you will surprise yourself, and enjoy it too. Plus if your grammar stinks. We all have friends that are good at it. Have someone look it over if need be.

If you really have no time (5 kids?) and more money, let me know and I will point you to a couple ok places to start. And if you do, start slow and build a relationship with the writer(s).

God Bless,  And Go For It, anyway you can!

One of the most effective ways to get attention on the internet is by writing good articles on the needs of people. If you continuously write articles that solves peoples problems and post them online, it does a lot of incredible things to you and your business.

I pay so much interest on how to use the internet to promote any network marketing business because I discovered that most businesses and persons neglect the positive impact of internet marketing on network marketing.

Really, one of the most effective internet marketing strategy to promote any business is the use of free articles. When I say free articles, it does not mean a sales letter which is against the rules of the directories you submit these articles to.

Promotional articles are written to provide good information for the readers who visit the free article directories. As a small business person, the fastest way you can increase your income and grow your business is by writing good articles that are related to whatever business you are in.

Below are the benefits you get when you use free articles to promote your business.

1. Link popularity.

If you have written and submitted several articles to the directories, you will notice after a while that when you type in the keywords you used to write these articles, that you see your articles in many other websites apart from the directory where your articles are published.

This is because, webmasters who read and feel your article is good, takes it and publishes it on their website. When many webmasters do this, and you have several articles in many directories, the search engine now see the link at the author bio as significant and ranks it important.

That is why your site may come up the top of the search engines when your keyword is typed. It is because of link popularity, your articles have several links in so many websites pointing to your website. This increases your traffic and search engine ranking.

2. Incredible boost in traffic and income.

If the link in your author resource box on your articles are still valid, you will notice that you will continue to get enough website visitors or traffic and if you design your article with the purpose of getting your readers to get your products then you will get many to patronize you.

Usually, one of the most effective ways to convert your readers to buyers is through the use of an opt-in web form at your author resource box. This will give the readers an opportunity to get more information from you in exchange for their name and email address.

Once you have their email address, you can follow up and make the sale by providing them with good information.

3. Makes you an expert.

People who read articles online are looking for solutions to their problems. If a person types a keyword and finds that the same author has written a lot of articles with the solutions to his problems on them, the author gains an instant credibility before him.

The reader now trusts the judgment of the author on the subject at hand because he has provided good information and proven that he knows what he is saying. The author or writer of that article becomes an expert and it is easy for the reader to seek for more advise from the writer of that article.

If this reader subscribes to the writers newsletter, there is no doubt that the reader may follow recommendations made by the writer which in this case may be you. And if one of those recommendations is one of the products that you are affiliated to and you know will solve his problem, he listens and buys from you because he trusts you as an expert.

This is great Johnny BUT, what if one is not adept at writing articles?  I know if one markets with this method that they are somehow perceived as an "expert" in their field.  That has great advantages in any marketing model.

Nice to read your post and the information was interesting.  Thank you!

CraigM, You dont have to be adept at article writing to use articles. Just sit down, think of a topic and just start writing. As unbelievable as this sounds, you will notice that as you write, you will be supplied with information along the way in your mind.

To boost your creativity in writing, you need to do some research and put the main ideas in mind. Then write in your own words. Granted, in the begining it will be slow. Something it can take you up to 30 minutes to complete an article. But as you force yourself to write more, you will notice that gradually, this time is reduced to 15, 10 or less minutes.

I have the experience. Try it and you will be pleasantly surprised.

I agree with Bigjonny, I had no desire to write in the beginning, but if I wanted to put up sites of quality and a blog worth reading, I had to write.

It does get easier as you do write and the speed comes faster than most would think.

Now I enjoy it more, I like the fact that I can convey to others my viewpoint and help others improve their lives with what I have learned.

Go for it, you will surprise yourself.

God Bless
Bruce--MM
