Submitting articles to different directories is one of the best methods that we can use to promote our site or online business. For submitting articles we need articles and not only that we need good articles. The first thing which comes in our mind is that we are not very good at writing articles. It is also too hard to find a topic to write about.
Problem on writing good article:
Well the main problem with writing article is I do not consider my self to be an expert on any topic. My English is not very good at all. This might be the problem with other peoples also, but as you all can see that I have tried my best to write one article in the similar way you all can try to write. Well it is sure that we can’t break the ice, but we can at least try for that.
The other problem for writing article is the selection of the proper topic on which we can write some thing. We need not to go to a long distance for the answer of this question. We can directly go to our own website, and pick the topic from there only. We can easily choose the products or services which we are providing or the theme of our site or can select any page of our site and can write some thing different but related to the same content which is their in our site. Well I can suggest a few things to the readers that please select the topic area that suits you very well or you are feeling comfortable with. Don’t try to write on a topic on which you are thinking that you are not an expert.
Writing good article:
It is simply quite difficult for the beginners but as and when you will be mature enough then you can easily write good articles. Well after writing some thing on a topic you can consult some one who is good enough for correcting your article, this way you can also know what the mistakes you have made while writing are. Well I can point out one important thing here also, one good article can make a good reputation of your site but one bad article will surely wash away all the reputation of your sites. It really takes a long time to build a good reputation of a particular site, but it clearly takes a few second to destroy all the reputation. So be very very careful before submitting your article to the online world. Let it be checked by the professional's and when they will tell you that it is ok then you can submit to any site who accepts free article. I can mention here three good sites whose reputation is quite high and also they have a large number of visitors. You can easily submit your article to these sites and your site will clearly get lots and lots of traffic due to this article. The sites are:-

There are many sites other than these which accept free article submission. You need to search them and submit your article over there. So be prepared and write whatever you want.

| I agree. Quality of articles is very important. I think too many people concentrate on getting as many articles out as possible in a short period of time. The whole purpose behind article marketing is to build authority, and your conversions are going to be low if you write poor. The more you are seen as a expert, the more trust you will build and your conversions will go up as a result.

Network marketing is a business opportunity that needs a huge downline to make one successful. One of the best ways to build a good sized downline is through the use of article marketing.
If you are not using this method to build a downline, then you are loosing out on one of the most effective ways to build your downline.
When you write articles for this purpose, there are three things to consider to make sure that each article you write is a success. Follow these three factors and witness an increase in the sign ups of people into your network marketing business opportunity.
1. The use of keywords in writing your article.
When you write an article, you should have in mind your target audience. This should help you to figure out the type of keywords these people will type into the search engine to get information.
For instance, lets say you are writing about 'Network marketing', you should do well to insert your keywords - Network marketing, at the title, body and conclusion of your article. This should be done with moderation and it must flow naturally.
If you overuse your keywords in your article writing, you will be spamming the search engines and this could get your website banned on the search engine. So if you are building a business, downline or you are in a network marketing organization, one of the ways you can build a downline is through article writing.

Rome was not built in a day. That is a popular saying you know. Nothing under the heaven is difficult to achieve if you put your heart to it. Article writing is easier than what people think about it.
Many feel it is boring. To me as long as you are excited about what you want to write, you can churn out 300 - 500 words article in 15 minutes or less. Just put your heart to it and before you know it, you are good at it.

If you are a network marketer, a business person or just anyone who reads articles, you should know by now that articles are found on the internet mainly by using keywords.
The search engine presents us an array of articles containing the keywords that we have typed and ask the search engine.
Since that is the case, anyone who is in business and who want to maximize his online exposure using articles should consider the use of keywords on those articles. That is not to say that you have to stuff your articles with so many keywords so much that what you are trying to say in your article now look incoherent and inconsistent.
There are 4 things you have to clearly know before you can properly use keywords in writing your articles namely:
Use of keyword phrases
Valuable article content
Keyword density
Linking matters
1. Use of keyword phrases.
The best way to write articles so that people can easily locate them is by the use of keyword phrases. When an article contain 2 or 3 keyword phrases, it is easier to locate than one with just one keyword. A phrased keyword is more specific and targets your audience better than one keyword phrase.
Keyword phrases narrows down your article to the exact audience you want your articles to reach. That is the purpose of using keyword phrases in your articles. However, a word of caution, when you use keyword phrases to write your articles, you must be careful to make it natural. It must flow naturally when a reader is going through your article.
In other words, you need to sprinkle your keyword phrases at least once or twice for every long paragraph you write in your article. Also make sure that the phrase is in your article title.
For best result, make sure that your keyword phrases appears first on the first paragraph of your article and sprinkle the rest in the paragraphs that make up the body. If possible, make the phrases be the last on the concluding paragraph.
2. Valuable article content
You can get your audience interested and engaged in your article if it is captivating, full of valuable information that actually answers or solves a question or problem. That way, the visitor enjoys your article and he will keep coming back to read more when you publish.
It is important to make any article you write to be very relevant to the reader and it must be tied with the title of the article.
3. Keyword Density
Keyword density refers to the degree or extent of use of keyword phrases on your articles. If the keywords are sparingly used, then it is easier for the search engines to crawl and rank the site and article accordingly.
However, if the search engine discovers that an article has so many keywords in it, it sees it as spamming and will neglect the article. The effect is, an article should not have too little of keyword phrases or too much, either way, the search engine neglects it.
4. Linking matters
Your link appears at the authors resource box. If you are writing an article, you have to ensure that your article has a good call to action in your resource box, that way, you get more of your readers to click through to your website.
Take note that when your articles are ranked high, it is because of two things, namely: your keywords and back links that your links have gathered over time from several of your articles that are placed online pointing back to your website link

| Couldnt agree with you more johnny. Article marketing is the way to go when you have barely any budget or none at all. Article marketing is also good for SEO as the more articles you get out there the more backlinks to your website.

For SEO, Articles are great! If you post two good articles per week with key words and related key words, you can rise in the searches very fast. That is in 2 to 3 months. Page one is not unheard of from articles alone.

There is a lot that goes into writing a good article. For starters find out what questions people are asking and then answer them in an article. This way you will always get read. Forums like this one are excellent for getting article ideas.

The importance of articles in today’s websites and internet based companies are immeasurable. They dictate a lot in the success and the drive of traffic into one’s site. It has become a key element in making a site work and earns a profit. A website operator and owner must have the good sense to include articles in his or her site that will work for them and earn them the many benefits articles can give to their site.
Articles have been known to be the driving force in driving traffic to a website. Articles are a factor in giving site high rankings in search result pages. The higher a site ranks the bigger slice of the traffic flow pie he gets. With a huge number in traffic flow, there are more profits and more potential for other income generating schemes as well.
But, it is not just about stuffing your site with articles; they have certain requirements as well. These requirements must be met to obtain the maximum benefits an article will provide for your site. A well written article will catch the eyes and interest of your customers and keep them coming back for more. They would also be able to recommend your site to others.
Here are some tips to help you and assist you in making your articles. Below you will read about four things all articles must have to make it successful and helpful in making your site a profit earning and traffic overflowing site.
• Keywords and Keyword Phrases.
An article must always be centered on the keywords and keyword phrases. As each website visitor goes to a site, there are those who are just merely browsing but actually looking for a specific something. When this happens, a searcher usually goes to a search engine and types in the keywords they are looking for (e.g. Toyota Camry, Meningitis, Tax Lawyer and Etcetera). It could be anything they want.
The Important thing is that you have an article that has the keywords that are related to your site. For example, if you maintain an auto parts site, you must be able t have articles about cars and their parts. Articles should at least have ten to fifteen percent of keyword density in their content for search engines to rank a site high in their search results. A good place to start an article if you've never done one is actually right here on this forum or any forum that's about the topic you want to write an article about.
Just copy bits and pieces of the forum conversations and paste it together into an article. Be sure to include

This topic is always timely I guess. I was reading a report over the weekend on article marketing and the author did these 4 things with his articles.
1. Always targeted one problem and solved it.
2. Kept it at 250-300 words.
3. Could write 7-8 articles an hour as he only wrote about what he knew about and did not have to spend time researching.
3. Submitted to Ezinearticles.com. Had over 2000 articles with them.
4. His resource box was very short and led to a splash page designed to get a name and email address only.
He built a list and over $15,000 a month income in a little over a year. This was in the competitive internet marketing niche and he used only article marketing to do it.

That is interesting that he only used article marketing to build his business. I read a post recently where one lady said that all of her business comes from posting in forums. I guess if you do just one thing really well, it may be all you need to succeed. Interesting!

Your advice about using keyword phrases is right on. I currently have about 65 articles posted on ezinearticles. Most of these were written over 6 months ago, and were not opitmized for specific keywords. These articles have had between 20-50 visitors in the past 6 months.
My most recent articles, published under the name Phillip Collinsworth, have been written with keyword optimization in mind. The result: In less than 1 week, several of them have had over 60 views.
Keyword focused content works.
