Jen et al,
You were previously banned for posting a blatant Isagenix recruiting ad in the product ads forum. It was obviously and clearly a bizop ad post. That's a no-no here...in any part of the forum....at any time.
Banned means banned...zero tolerance and no warning is forum policy.
Indiscriminate? Hardly...and sour grapes on your part.
Other "obvious biz op in the same forum"? BS!!
Both are common statements we get every time someone gets an ad/post deleted.....e.g doesn't get their way.
Here's a suggestion - If "you" have a question bring it to admin or the mods privately...as your leadership has previously with some nice discussions resulting. Don't "post" as you have here. It should be private and professional. Why? You may not like the answer you get shared in public.
Your last ad was deleted for 2 reasons.
1. You were previously banned for openly violating Forum policy...you shouldn't even be here. Re-joining under a new name was noticed. I was going to allow that after a couple months cooling off period (and suggested/stated as such to your leadership here via PM soon after you were originally banned). But....you jumped the gun. That's NOT a good thing. Banned normally means for life.....period. I was going to maybe give you a break. I'm now rethinking that.
2. We are getting about 10 Isa product ads submitted per day....and have for a couple weeks now. Many saying the same thing. That was overwhelming the product board and would give it an Isagenix only appearance. That's not our intention....every member and their company deserves a chance (within policy of course).....so we decided to closely monitor activity and deny additional Isa posting.
There are some Isa ads there already. Well done, impressive, and appropriate. They will remain and deserve to. There may be more in the future if the flow dissipates, the content/quality improves (no cut and paste duplicates), and it no longer looks like people are taking advantage of the privilege. Which is exactly what posting ads here is.....a privilege. Actually, posting anything for that matter.
FYI, quite a few of the other ads submitted were nothing more than testimonials or company news too. Those are more appropriate for your Company specific board here. By the way....much of the activity was also occurring as people were joining to comment in, or check on, the "we want a company board" thread.
I've noticed that since an Isa board has been put up there's not the frenzy of discussion/sharing/educating/encouraging activity in your board that was anticipated....yet the flood to post ads continues in mass.
I ask you this...what are you here for?
Before you think you're being singled out let me say you're not. We get this kind of activity anytime a group comes here....and is excitedly "sharing". It's happened with gas savers, Mentors In Motion, Magnetic Sponsoring, Success University, Pre-Paid Legal, Amigo, Liberty League, Pay-It-Forward, and a host of others.
For the record I love your groups energy and enthusiasm. But please....apply it to the culture of the Forum. Not in marketing "you" to "us". Attract others by selling yourself first. That's what we are about. Pitch in...ask questions...help out...lend a hand...have some fun. Few of you participate beyond asking for a company board and posting ads. We see that!
If/when the ad posting frenzy dies out I'll start loosening the reins and letting a few more product ads through (those that are appropriate). But not until then.
I'd also like to see this company board take off as it was intended. You have huge potential for good here. Plus I'd like to see Isa family join in the Forum culture in the other boards.
