Ok...
I seen a post on another forum by someone who just joined a company, a VERY fine mlm company I might add.
One that has passed the five year mark, has an amazing product line at competitive prices and they are growing at 40% a year!
So, this person was signed up by a successful networker in that company...that upline posted a thread WELCOMING her to ______ (name of company)
The new person replied back to her upline.
In reply this is part of what she wrote in return...this was the FIRST sentence!
"I signed up practically kicking and screaming - I'm such a skeptic. I hope ___________ (name of company) and all of you, can prove me wrong!"
Ok,I want to make a few comments on this...
FIRST OF ALL..I NEVER sign anyone up kicking and screaming!
I sign up the "willing and wanting"
Im NOT in the convincing business. Those who want what I have to offer and SEE IT will join me. Those who dont wont and I wish them well on their continued search to find the company for THEM!
SECOND...I dont deal well with skeptics who sign on
with me. If they are such a skeptic I'd rather have them WAIT to join until they feel absolutely comfortable with their decision.
Otherwise they more often than not will be a constant thorn in your side.
THIRD...Its NOT up to "me" and/or the company to PROVE THEM WRONG!
Its up to THEMSELVES to prove it RIGHT!!!!
Go to work and prove to yourself that you can do this!
The company and your sponser has EVERYTHING you need put in place for you to succeed.
If its to be,its up to me. (you/them)
I guess I dont understand welcoming someone with open arms into my business who has THAT kind of "show me" attitude.
I'd love to hear others thoughts!
Would you sign them up?
Thanks!
Deb (I only work with the willing)

| I agree with you 100%. Why sign up someone kicking and screaming? It does no one any good and in fact, it creates nothing but problems for both of you and you are right the person should have proven themselves right before joining not after.

If you are not willing to build a business than I dont want you. I build my network marketing business mostly with people who are already in business.
I showed a insurance company how a MLM company will benefit their business same thing with the land scaper.
Im not looking for the person who say "well lets see it this thing works"

I totally agree.
As network marketers we are always (Almost required) talking to a numerous amount of people by the very nature of our profession. It is important to understand that your time is really THE lifeblood of your business.
I've ran into people I really wanted on board in my business, mostly friends, who came on with that attitude. It was back when I was fairly new to the industry so I was just excited to get ANYONE, customer or distributor.
Well, let's just say after many, many pointless discussions with this person, the excitement was pretty deflated.
The effort it takes to convince someone is unequal in worth. Ultimately we are much better just going for the people who already believe in network marketing and want it, rather than create one of those alluring skeptic-to-believer stories.
They're cool stories. Alas, very rarely the more profitable route.
All the best,
Gregory Elfrink
