I agree with that because in your email account spam is commonplace.I forgive them by replying with my offer,you see?
I hope people realize that this method is not reputable for a business...it's bad business.

Yup. Spams are quite commonplace.
I'd like to check again if it's possible
that I would be getting more spams
if my opt in form is set to single opt in mode.
What do you think ?

Ditto, we should be grateful that we are able to link our opportunity, product, or service to our signature. That is a bonus since most of us are here for support and education. 
I think those that throw their biz around are just not aware that it takes more than Stealth Marketing to succeed. More times than not those folks don't.

I agree with everyone here. People have to learn to bring something to the table.
Selling isn't about talking it's about listening--serving the needs of someone with your product or service. You'll never know what those needs are however if you don't start of listening to people.
My mentor told me that although we've been taught how to write, read and speak no one ever bothered to teach us how to listen.

That's it. They don't know any better at this stage. If they knew they were ruining their reputation, they wouldn't be doing it.
If we can help them, that would be great. Let's all learn to be more gracious with newbies. Though it's not permission for anyone to post their biz opp.

| I think forums are places for people to share and exchange information of MUTUAL benefit. So it is not so much about the users' interests, but of the interests' of other forum users too. I mean every thread has a topic, so perhaps as users, it would be considerate and helpful to contribute towards that topic. Then everyone can learn in the process too.

Hey Michael,
That would be my suggestion. Give them a warning first. Explain to them how to get the most from the forum if they are new here or to how forums work. If they don't want to be teachable, definitely ban them Michael.

No warnings....period. It honestly doesn't work. We tried that before .... bent over backwards .... and it didn't help at all. Took way too much time and effort ..... and folks were more "put off" than appreciative. Rather nasty most of the time really.
The rules now are clear and obvious. People post spam at their own risk. The zero tolerance policy is part of what sets us apart from other forums. Makes this the kind of place people can come to for real help and relationshipping. Without distractions from spam, trolling, arguments, soap operas, and no value junk.

In that case then Michael, I totally agree. If people aren't teachable and coachable, there isn't much we can do.

Hello All,
I'm the newbiest of newbies here I think, so just a hello to get acquainted and thought this is better than any thread to get started in.
Good post, as I didn't want to get on a forum if others were just giving their spill about their "op" but just to get some good advise and give it where possible. Although I've only been in business for approx 8 months and still learning the tricks (not meant as dodgy tricks) of the trade.
Hope to enjoy some conversations in future.

spamming campaign isn't it?
But I do understand that most people who
come online will think of this as their first way
to advertise their BIZ opp...
That's probably the most easiest way a newbie
can think, whether or not they have the intention
to SPAM.
