Hello All!

The advice posted is invaluable.

If you have never been involved in a "traditional" business, where you end up 750,000 in debt....I can see where you would think MLM is a challenge.

MLM is the only way for many people. The only people that lose make poor decisions, are manipulated by upline hype and are easily duped.

I live in Nebraska and I truly believe that MLM is the savior of small towns. The small town life is dying, due to the unavailability of JOBS.

Why not create your own job? MLM is the way!

After 90 days of serious searching, investigating, completing multiple due diligence on several different NWM/MLM companies, I've finally made my decision.

I've decided to work with Send Out Cards under the sponsorship, and hopefully, Mentorship of Executive George Marsh.

I really felt that this is my last chance to do it right and make a success with my efforts and SOC fit the bill. My wife has actually started to support me in my endeavor after calculating our taxes for last year and actually seeing what a home business can do for your tax situation. Mattice Diversified Group didn't have a "bad" year but it was nothing to write home about.

*Products supported by real life studies for efficacy and quality
*A robust comp plan that is quick to see results and easy to understand
*Ability to retail products at a reasonable price for "right now" money
*A quality marketing plan and support tools in place
*Solid and increasing annual sales and distributor growth
*Qaulified Upline with proven success and willingness to share information
*A plan for a successful system to plug into and NOT reinvent the wheel
*Both company and product recognized in the community for quality
*Easy online signups and prospect backoffice tracking
*Company websites provided at no or minimum cost to the distributor
*Outstanding customer support in knowledge and helpfulness
*No voicemail, phone trees, but "real people" answering the phones
*Company MUST be distributor oriented with income based on volume and not on the backs of distributors in the form of fees etc.

Everyone that I have had conversations with involving other companies have been outstanding in answering my questions and especially providing guidance. I can't thank you all enough.

I expect great things from myself with the help and support of George. I am truly blessed!

You sound like me, LOL! although it is a different company I will stay committed to, it meets all the qualifications you mentioned and more, but the co. is not the point.  We all need to be positive about what we are going to do.  I did some bouncing around and a lot of learning my first two years in internet marketing and have tired of the programs that come and go.  We all learn this at our own pace.  I sure have made some great online friends in the process.  We just all need to stay focused and positive.  There are days where we just may need a break from getting carpal tunnel syndrome LOL! and should take it and then get back to our online work with a clear head.

Squirrels Network Marketing and MLM

Strange title I know but I want to get you thinking about this.  Have you ever “really” watched squirrels and what they do day in and day out?  Well, it’s actually quite interesting.  At least I think so.

Squirrels seem to have a genetically innate sense of what to do in life.  They get up early in the morning and until dusk they are out foraging for nuts.  Not unlike those of us in Network Marketing and MLM.  We too are always looking for the quality “nuts” available to us.

Oh!  You say.  But squirrels don’t have to deal with rejection like we do.  To that I say ah ha!  But they do experience rejection.  How many times have you watched a squirrel foraging around in your yard, hopping from one place to another, and always digging their little holes?  They are of the positive mental attitude that they will always find a nut in just the next hole.

Watching the squirrels you will see them dig their little holes, stick their fuzzy little nose in the ground and come up with………………….nothing!  What do they do?  The same thing we do when prospecting.  They disregard the outcome and move on, optimistically; to the next hole they will dig.  OK Craig!  What about rejection after talking with a prospect?

Well I’ll tell you.  Many times the squirrel will actually find a nut in the ground, probably buried by themselves earlier or by another squirrel.  They pull the nut out all excitedly, sniff it a few time, chew on it a little bit and realize………………….this nut is no good anymore.  Blah!  Been in the ground too long!

Now that is real rejection from the squirrel’s point of view.  All of that work hunting, digging, sniffing, and chewing, for what, a smelly no good rotten nut.  Bummer!

We are not unlike the experience of the squirrel in Network Marketing and MLM.  Always searching, prospecting in our many ways, only to talk to a promising prospect/lead and they won’t answer our next phone call or email.  They just disappear into the “Prospect Protection Program.”

How many holes does a squirrel have to dig to find a “good” nut?  I don’t know.  I do know they don’t whine; go back to their nest and quite.  They just keep on going, day in and day out, constantly looking for that “good” nut.

Our outlook should be as positive and optimistic as the squirrels in your own yard.  Day in and day out we should prospect and talk to leads.  Examine each as and unique individual and determine if they are a “good” nut or “bad” nut.  And keep taking positive forward action.

As with the squirrels, we will even need to place nuts and prospects back on the follow through list as they’re not ready for what we are looking for in a “good nut.”  So the next time you’re prospecting or calling leads, think of your neighborhood squirrel and don’t quite.

Oh Boy! Now to me, that is the single most frustrating thing with this business, right next to distributors who won't get off thier behinds and do some work, then quit because the program doesn't work. I even tell prospects up front, if you are not impressed, if you don't like what you see, when i call back, just tell me no, or email me and tell me no. But NOOOOOOO!!! they would rather hide, and dodge my call. Very frustrating. As to Number two, I believe you could make any program work, even if it sold left handed tools to right handed people (an exageration, i know) if you market the right way.

Out of 100 prospects, 95 are bad nuts, and only 5 are good nuts.

That's our job - to sort out the good nuts from the many bad nuts who are just looking to get rich quickly.

These people are going to be very disappointed. It will never happen.

There is no Get Rich Quickly business. MLM has gotten a bad rap because of those who perpetuate that lie. Finding those 5 out of 100 is difficult, but worth every bit of the effort. Once trained to do the same, well do the math. MLM is not for weanies, thats for sure. It's a marathon and those of us who intend to run that race are a rare bread, not to mention a little bit off, if you know what i mean. My granddaddy would have said "tetched," "not right in the head!"
