There are certainly ways to get someone who's an Options
person to become more Procedural... However it will take way
too long before you'll be able to see any significant result and
furthermore you'll become miserable trying to be someone
you're not 
How's you are to practically grow your business:
1) Focus on sponsoring Procedures people,
2) Get an upline who's also a Procedure person to co-train and
guide your Procedures downlines.
Focus on your strengths, i.e. how to creatively attract more
people to join your opportunity. And surround yourself with
uplines who are Procedures people (and may tend to be boring
at times), learn to leverage on each other's strengths.

You are welcome James.
I use to be involved in MLM, however I am highly Options oriented and so always did it my way -- inventing new ways to do it rather than following the tried and true methods. Hence I was not as successful at MLM as I could have been.

I really have to congratulate your insight on being able to decipher the pruning of prospects and also trying to 'save' so many MLM newbie's from falling in the pit if deception. Thanks and God Bless.
I'll bet you have made some studies regarding NLP most of the time combined with some experience to produce that article ?

Hello Vern,
Thank you for your kind words. The article is based on my understanding of NLP and also my real world experiences. I think MLM is a wonderful opportunity for the right person. However, MLM is not a fit for my interests and personality. I believe that people should do what they enjoy doing and have an aptitude for. For me, I am a very good trainer, author and coach and I love to explore how I can do something in a different manner from the previous time -- I believe a strength in my chosen professions.

Thanks, I am happy that you liked it. It changed the hole way for me
on how I view "Goal setting".
There are over 3 million websites on the Internet about
Goal setting, but most people never reach their goal,
because they doesn't want it bad enough.
The key is to find your "Quore desire", so you will get
ready for war.
But, you also need a good Mentor so you can get some
Direction, and James and Roger has really shared a lot

The REAL Reasons Why People Join Network Marketing Companies

Whether you are online, or offline, (and again, still, almost 90% of all recruiting takes place offline.) This article will help give you an idea that literally exploded my business once I learned it, and I was blessed with a SCORCHING recruiting ratio for years and years in Network Marketing.
What is "Recruiting Beyond the MLM Business?"
Before we get to that, let's go over what we at PassionFire call "The Empowerment Void" in most folk's lives.
What is that?
Learn This next Axiom of MLM Recruiting, and change your own life as well as others.
Most people, go their whole life without once ever being told they could truly succeed, that they had it in them to do great things, and worse, no one has ever taken the time to show them they care enough to help or show them how.
And most people today are STARVING for someone to help them get beyond where they are in life -- in debt up to their eyeballs, and going on a treadmill of repeated mistakes that they just cannot seem to break.
They are looking beyond where they are now to try to do something with their life. That's where you come in and an MLM home business.
We teach that you must in recruiting touch a person's heart before they will touch your application. People want to feel good about their life, future, and working with you.

And most important: The Person they want to become, they WILL become, through the growth, maturing, and increase in ALL aspects of their life. Through what they will Learn, Ignite, and Evolve into with your Network Marketing business.
Ask them: "If you learned to handle people better, how would that help you in Life?"
'If you became a more disciplined person, would that help you in Life?"
"If you became a more Powerful communicator, what difference would that make?"
And the "5 Power Words of Vision in MLM Recruiting:
"Imagine the feeling of this:" (Name a Benefit...)
"Imagine the feeling of People being riveted to what you have to say because they want to Listen due to HOW you are saying it. How would that feel?"
"Imagine the feeling of being in a Position to have the resources to help a great friend in need. How would that feel?"
"Imagine the feeling of knowing absolutely nothing could stop you if you decided to do succeed at something. How would that help you?"
People would follow you to the moon if you are Sincere, Authentic, and Truly Care about taking the Time to help Put their Life on Track to Their Dreams and what they View as Success.
Too many people are "Recruiting Beyond Their Bank Account." They are focused on what that person can bring to their bank Account, verses what they can bring to that person's life.
True. Money drives a lot of the business. But would you rather CHASE the Money, or ATTRACT it?
MLM Millionaire's Secret.
MLM Millionaires in this Business didn't Chase the Money. It was Attracted to them. Through Helping others. (Yes, I know their are exceptions, and Mean Spirited people do exist, but as a general rule.) That is what Recruiting MagneTechs(sm) is all about.

To truly become successful and have abundance you need to reprogram your sub conscious mind into believing that you deserve to be prosperous and wealthy. Often times we jump into opportunities and wonder why we are unable to succeed like the others.
Before you can succeed you first need to prepare your self and that means getting rid of negative energy and beliefs about success. Most of us were brought up to believe that money was evil and as such our sub conscious will do every thing in its power to prevent us from having abundance. This is because the subconscious mind works to prevent any contradictions.
To truly have abundance is to truly believe that you deserve it. You need to reprogram your mind and have a totally different mind set. It all begins by telling our selves every day what we truly desire. One of my favorite books that helps me to reprogram my subconscious is a book by Shad Helmstetter titled What to Say When You Talk to Your Self.
Until you prepare yourself to receive abundance, it will be almost impossible for you to be truly wealthy and prosperous. It's a process and a journey not a destination or an even. You also need to be at peace and in harmony with your self and your environment. Once you have achieved this success and abundance will come automatically. Every thing you ever wanted in life, you already have you just need to manifest it by proving you're ready to receive it.
Our lives are a direct reflection of what we belief in and we're all at exactly where we need to be at this point in time. Every thing we have and every thing we are is a direct results of our beliefs. Change your beliefs and your life will improve.

Roger,
I have to commend you on your self-honesty. You realized that your personality didn't quite fit the success mold of network marketing, and you found something that did fit - training and coaching! I think that is amazing. Most people are either unable or unwilling to recognize their own strengths and weaknesses, and as a result, will never find the one thing they are truly good at.

I agree 100% about following a system. Unfortunately, lots of old school MLM companies have outdated systems that only work for 5% of the people. I am sure you have heard them, "all you have to do is make a list of absolutely everyone you know," open your Yearbook, look for old friends. Then call them and tell them how excited you are about your business."
Well, the whole reason for the high failure rate, is because this system only works for a very small minority. I tried it myself and up to this day, I have friends who are too nervous to talk to me thinking I am going to pitch them something.
Before joining the company I was in, I was with another old-school MLM company for a very short time, and at one of their "big conventions," they preached the whole "Who do you know? Who do you know? And who do they know? I quit that business the last night of that big convention that was suppose to "change my life."
It is now the 21st Century, we have the internet, we have email, we have forums(like this one). There are so many systems to follow such as blog marketing methods, article marketing methods, active participation in forums, Google Adwords, and much more. And they are all duplicatible and teachable, and guess what, the average Joe now has a chance of making it in MLM, not just the heavy hitters.

That's so correct! Take my person as an example:
I flee my country 30 years ago when I was a very young woman. I don't even know if any of the people I knew so many years ago, are still alive... if any of my then girlfriends did marry and changed names...
The old system may have worked well some time ago when everybody knew his neighbour, when the traveling 30 miles was considered a trip
