Did you ever wonder what the secret is to building a successful Network Marketing business? I know I wondered for years. I would attend company events and ask questions of top income earners, just knowing there was some piece missing that was going to be the answer to my success.
Once I begin to look inward, at myself and my actions, I realized that the "Holy Grail" lies within each of us. We just have to discover it there.
Since that time I have worked on some business principles that have made a difference for me, when I follow them.
These are the business rules that I live and die by. It is my belief that if you will follow these business rules, you can not help but be a success.
1. Commit to self development and learning. Always be reading some type of book on self development and improving yourself.
2. Refuse to get discouraged and especially do not let others discourage you. If you must take a 15 minute pity party, fine, but then pick yourself back up and put on a smile.
3. Meet, greet and delete your fears. Take it out, talk to it, laugh and brush it off. Find that "feel good" feeling.
4. Be coachable - great ideas are out there everywhere. Be willing to ask, listen and learn.
5. Attend company functions so you can know the heart and soul of the business, management and the leaders. This will help you develop more quickly.
6. Seek out others who want what you have to share and let go of those who do not.
That is it. Everything else can be done in different ways. You might build through parties, running ads, fundraisers, online, or whatever. You don't have to build in the same way as your upline and sponsor. Find your way and commit to it 100%.
Take action daily and keep your focus and blinders on!

Hey All,
This morning I found a link to a site that offers completely free audio mentoring feeds that is not affiliated to any business out on the net, no pressure to join anything, nothing. Just some great explanations on how to grow YOUR business and not someone elses. I thought you might find this helpful and informative. I am not personally linked to and will not be compensated for this link, so please go and enjoy it without thinking that I am a MLM troll. =D

Thanks!

For a newbie in the world of internet marketing, you should definitely try to use Google AdWords. It's the biggest traffic generating tool out there that can boost your web traffic overnight. That sounds easy but don't get too excited. Learning the ropes is always the best option. Take your time to study and try to get the hang of it. On Adwords, I recommend Perry Marshall's ecourse.

I love free teleclasses. They're a great way to get an introduction to someone's material and find out if it's something you want to pursue further. I also love network marketing (at its best -- at its worst I'm as annoyed by it as anybody else). What makes the difference between good network marketing and bad network marketing? Training. More specifically, good training.
http://www.mlmteleclass.com/
My friend Scott Allen turned me on to this free MLM teleclass resource.....GREAT stuff. Scott actually participated as an instructor OCT 15 .... offering his well known expertise on building your network online. I strongly suggest you watch for when Scott may be up on the schedule again. Great learning opportunity and well worth it.
http://www.mlmteleclass.com/MLMclassDetails.lasso?courseNo=SA-101A
There's a great variety of topics here from top instructors -- all free. And while the presenters are allowed to make a brief offer at the end of the call, these are packed full of content -- not just a 55-minute sales pitch. Here is a sample of what will be featured for the month of October:
*Discover the virtual handshake to build your network online
*Learn how to prospect like a professional
*Find out the 7 keys to getting all the free publicity you want
*Double your sales
*Know how to recruit with ease, to grow your team today
*Learn about the Irlen Method
*Find out how to manage fear
*Discover how to dump credit card debt
*Find three easy ways on how to empower children financially
*Envision how bio-energetic healing can change your life
*Learn how to deal with people differently
*Uncover the secrets to building your million dollar business
*Become wealthy without a job
*Create breakthroughs in every area of your life
*Know how to select a 6 or 7 figure network marketing opportunity
If you'd like to learn more, take a look at the detailed class schedule. The classes are free, but pre-registration is required (you can register through the schedule page).

God Bless,

This is from Mike Dillard, with Magnetic Sponsoring. As a person in Corporate America working towards Network Marketing full time, it is great information. Enjoy!
How To Quit Your Job And Go Full-Time In Your Business..."
"Dear Mike Dillard, with Magnetic Sponsoring.
What suggestions do you have for someone (myself) who is working his
brains out making a really good salary in my corporate job, but wants to go
full time in networking?
I want to get more involved and I make time nearly every day to read and
get smarter about the process. My current job takes up way more than 40
hours per week and we have a better income than at any other time in my
life.
How do I maintain the integrity of my current commitment and still
transition to my networking business? If you suggest I quit right now and
focus all the same energy from my job into networking, I suppose that would
be an answer. - Kevin S."
------------------------------------------------
Thanks for the question Kevin. I'm glad to see that you're in a position
to even consider this topic... Congrats!
Here's the quick rule-of-thumb answer...
Never quit your JOB and go full time into your home business until you've
exceeded your JOB income for at least three consecutive months.
That's the quick answer.
As we get into a deeper answer to your question, let's assume that you
follow that rule. Your next concern is the amount of free time you have
available to dedicate to your business.
Well in reality, time is RARELY an issue. It's simply a matter of working
smarter and more efficiently, instead of longer.
The first thing we need to do is prioritize our activities so that we're
only spending time on those which directly effect bottom line production.
And there are a lot of activities that go into building a network
marketing business!
- Writing ads
- Placing ads
- Creating capture pages
- Calling leads
- Interviewing leads
- Contact management
- Scheduling follow ups
- 3-way calls with downline
- Mailing information
- Making follow up calls
- Processing new orders and applications
- New distributor training and orientation
Now here's where I want to flip the switch upstairs for you today...
Look through all of the activities above and ask yourself the following
question:
"What makes me money?"
The answer?
In the end, it's only one thing:
Processing completed customer orders and distributor applications.
That's the only activity that makes you money, so it's the one activity
that should dominate your business building time.
If you only had two hours per day to build a business, how much money
would you be making if you spent all two hours processing new applications
and taking orders?
Probably enough to go full time right!?
This is where you say, "Ya but that's impossible Mike..."
Actually far from it. That's all I do and here's the process needed to
make it happen...
Now in order to process orders consistently and at a relatively high rate
each day, 3 things must take place:
1: You must build a pipeline of prospects whom you consistently contact
over time, not personally, but through marketing which allows you to
leverage your efforts.
2: You must build a relationship with those prospects, not personally, but
through technology such as an auto-responder and video.
3: You must effectively market your goods and services to those prospects,
and then sales are made and income is produced.
Now here's the deal...
All three of these activities can, and must, be achieved on autopilot if
you want your production to sky rocket.
And that's the secret between full-time networkers who make the big bucks,
and those who bust their rears all day long for years, barely turning a
profit.
Part-timers continually buy leads or place ads to generate new prospects,
but rarely put them into a long-term "pipeline."
Part-timers attempt to build relationships with their leads by talking to
them on the phone numerous times.
I constantly see networkers contact a lead 3 to 5 times, spending 1 to 5
hours time trying to get a single prospect into the business.
Part-timers spend major bucks and most of their limited time buying, and
then mailing expensive prospecting tools to their prospects.
The lesson to be learned here is that they are building their business
without leverage.
They are spending too much of their time doing activities that DO NOT
directly produce income.
The rich networker puts together a lead generation campaign on Google
Adwords that automatically generates 10-20 news leads per day for him.
The rich networker leverages tools and technology like personally written
autoresponders to build a relationship with his 1,000's of prospects
automatically.
He knows that a relationship and trust can be built without personal phone
calls.
The rich networker has an assistant or fulfillment center distribute
business building tools to his prospects automatically so he's isn't stuck
addressing envelopes every night at his kitchen table.
The rich networker only does three things that require his personal time:
1: He contacts the prospects who have called or emailed him after
reviewing his marketing materials.
2: He processes their application or product order.
3: He talks to and builds relationships with other rich networkers and
proven producers, not beginners.
So I hope that you understand that going full-time in a home business is
not about how much time you have available, but how you're spending that
time.

Hi Lisa,
I got this email from Mike yesterday and thought it was full of great information as he nailed it on the head.
Postive daily action in getting orders and signing up applicants is what it is all about.
Too bad it's not as easy as it sounds. As they say NWM/MLM is a simple business but not an easy one to become successful. Like anything else of value it take work and too many people who look into NWM/MLM have no idea what is involved.
There is no "secret" or shortcut to success. In fact, the secret is there is NO secret.
I'm sure many people will benefit from this post. Thank you.

Hi Craig,
Thanks for the feedback. Yes, Network Marketing is simple, but hard work. The only item I differ on a little is personal contact. I do try to personally contact all of my leads. I usually try to call them two times, then I let my automation take over from there.
I just like to at least attempt a one on one conversation in the beginning.

I agree, I contact my leads at least four attempts at a minimum. I believe the personal contact is very important if not to learn more about how I can improve my marketing. With my current offline marketing system I'm finding more people are just curious vs. serious when calling my sizzle line from my sizzles cards.

Those of you building a business just got a raise courtesy of the IRS.
Effective July 1st the business milage deduction will increase from .505 to .585 per mile.
http://www.irs.gov/newsroom/article/0,,id=184163,00.html]http://www.irs.gov/newsroom/article/0,,id=184163,00.html
If one gets 20 miles per gallon the government pays you $11.70 for each business related gallon of gasoline used.
This savings alone pays for your ADP.
Many people do not realize the advantages of having a home based business. US distributors should share the following websites with prospects:

Hello Everyone,
Please see the article below from "Yahoo Business" on using customer testimonials to your advantage. I thought it would be helpful to everyone. I wish you all success. It has worked for me in my business and it is paying dividends!!
Cheers,
Don
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Using customer testimonials in your advertising, marketing materials and on your website is a common practice. If your customers are saying great things about your business, then why not publicize those positive testimonials for the world to see?
Not so fast: There are two main problems with customer testimonials--overuse and legitimacy. Testimonials are used so often that they have lost some of their value. Furthermore, prospective customers don't always trust the truthfulness of testimonials. How do you make your customer testimonials stand out from the crowd and make them more meaningful for your prospects? To create effective, meaningful customer testimonials, they must be:
1. Authentic: One of the main problems with customer testimonials is their believability. Prospective customers need to believe the testimonials you provide are real. Too many companies advertise using customer testimonials written by a copywriter with no involvement from actual customers at all. To make your customer testimonials believable, authenticate them by using pictures of the customers who provide them along with those customers' real names. In other words, prove your customer testimonials are real up front so there is no room for doubt in the minds of your prospects.
2. Quantifiable: Add meaning to your customer testimonials by putting hard numbers in them whenever possible. If customers talk about the amount of money or time they saved by doing business with you, find out exactly how much they saved, and ask them to include those figures in their testimonials. A customer testimonial that says, "I saved $100 at XYZ Store" is far more compelling than, "I saved money at XYZ Store."
3. Specific: Customer testimonials are useless unless they give prospective consumers a reason to care about them. Vague testimonials, such as "It was great to do business with ABC Store," provide nothing of value to prospective consumers. Instead, guide customers who give you testimonials by asking them to provide a specific reason why working with your business benefited them. Effective customer testimonials won't leave a prospective customer saying, "Why should I care what that person thinks?" Instead, effective customer testimonials tell prospects exactly what's in it for them when they choose your business based on another customer's prior experience. In other words, prospective consumers should be able to personalize your customer testimonials and apply them to their own lives.
4. Diverse: Not only is it useful to obtain customer testimonials from a diverse audience who your prospective customers can relate to, but it also helps in terms of keeping your testimonials meaningful. If you use the same testimonial again and again, prospective consumers will wonder if this is the only person who had something good to say about your business. The testimonial will lose meaning because the individual who provided the testimonial becomes more of a spokesperson rather than another satisfied customer in the eyes of prospects. Obtain a varied collection of customer testimonials that prospects will relate to, from a diverse group of people and also about a variety of experiences and benefits.
5. Approved: Always obtain approval and written permission to use any customer's testimonial, name or likeness in your marketing and business materials. Remember Step 1 of creating meaningful customer testimonials is to make them authentic by naming names and using pictures. You shouldn't do that unless you have permission from the source first.
In short, don't leave room for guesswork when it comes to your customer testimonials. Leverage the role of your loyal and best customers by asking them to provide testimonials. Make sure your customer testimonials are verifiable, and specifically tell prospective consumers the benefits of doing business with you. If your customer testimonials are honest and trustworthy, then people will respond to them--which translates to positive results for your bottom line.
Keep sharing any idea for online or offline ....which may "click" with other members and help them move forward with their business efforts.
Just be as specific as possible in your explanations so others can more easily understand the "what" and "how".
And no real restrictions or expectations on what you share as long as it is helpful and NOT self promoting something of your own.
It's all about what we can do for others here....
So....share away!
God Bless,
Michael
Hello to all!
I wanted to share with you these 7 tips for starting a business, of which I learned from Aaron Parkinson:
1) Find a product that is UNIQUE. Is there a high demand for this product? Is it of value to you, without the business opportunity?
2) Does the company offer a lucrative compensation plan? Money paid directly to you on your sales of at least 50% and offers residual income, also.
3) Does the company have a great marketing system in place? Can it be duplicated?
4) Does the company's management have good credentials? What are their long term goals?
5) Are they expanding globally?
6) Does the company give back to others?
7) Do they offer a support and training network, other than sponsors?
Hope this helps!
Take care,
Maybe the single greatest part about affiliate marketing is the incredibly low initial investment you need to start earning money for yourself. All you really need is a website. That’s it. There are so many FREE programs out there that will walk you though basic web design, even if you know nothing about it, you can be up and running in the span on a day. All that’s left at this point is finding an affiliate marketing program to subscribe to.
Here are a few tips about starting up your affiliate marketing campaign today!
• There are tens of thousands of affiliate marketing programs you can subscribe to. The list is essentially limitless. An important piece of advice, though, is that if an affiliate marketing program wants you to pay money to sign up, you might want to think twice. Unless the initial investment is very small, there are many other choices that you could make. You see, almost all affiliate marketing programs are FREE! That’s right, you read that right. FREE! And not only that, but some of the big time programs will even train you and give you tips on the right keywords to put on your webpage so random web surfers will find you, click on your link, buy a product and earn you money! Unless you really want to be part of an affiliate marketing program that charges money, don’t do it. There are thousands that are free.
• Don’t use a low-quality internet provider. This can be a tough choice for those looking at keeping their costs at zero or as close to zero as possible. But your local full Internet Service Provider is going to do a better job of hosting your new money making website then some free site that crashes all the time. Your new web site is a money-making machine for you, don’t trust it to a company that isn’t going to do everything they can to make sure it’s up and running 24/7. You probably pay for an internet connection in your home already, and with your basic Internet account, you get web space. Use it and rest easy knowing that your website is in good hands.
As you can see, there are a few ins and outs to affiliate marketing that everyone needs to know. But the key here is the fact that you can earn money with almost no work involved. Just make a website, write some snappy content and set up your links and then sit back, relax and count your money.
