MoreThanTraffic.com is a company that has developed world wide attention within the online community.
It's a company that 'guarantees' to make you a $100K within 4 months. And all you do is wait to receive your check. The condition with this is once you receive the $100K the company generates for you, you have to give them 15% of your earnings.
However, this 'too good to be true' claim has left many disgruntled online marketers hunting this company down to which resides in the Harrow, UK.
There's has been a lot of speculation as to the legitimacy of this company and very few have came out in public forums to testify their earnings.
Unfortunately for me, I joined before ads representing this company were blasted across the web, that soon became the talk of the century.
From my experience, keep away folks. I never saw my $100K and it's been well past 4 months since joining.
However through my own testing, I care to announce to all of you and my personal subscribers and clients to keep away.
Learn from someone who know's a thing or two ...

Respectfully, this should have been the first red flag to scare you away.
Where else in life would you have trusted a company who claims to be giving out free money?

Umm... Yeah
And your new company in your sigline is pretty much saying the same thing.
You know how the old saying goes...

I'm sorry you had a bad experience, but is also seems like this is the tyoe of deal your drawn too.
Sit down and really figure out what it is you would like to accomplish in this type of business, and see if these deals can really get you to that end result.

Any time you see income claims like that, RUN!!! Not only is that one complete BS, it's also illegal. The Federal Trade Commission has very specific regulations regarding earning claims, lifestyle and hypothetical claims, income representations and income testimonials.
Of course one doesn't need to know any laws at all to realize that one should be avoided like the Black Death.

Total scam-
they create a link farm, a black-hat SEO strategy wthat will get your site blacklisted.
PLUS they tell you to wait something like 52 days...just long enough to avoid a chargeback.
And no- you wont get the traffic. I didnt test it myself, but I know a couple of people who did.

All good marketers know you have to spend money to make money and you have to be willing to work to make money. And it takes time. If someone tells you different, they're full of it.

Absolutely correct. You have to work to make money- after all, it is a home based BUSINESS, yes?
I suppose if you have an EXCELLENT co-op you could pay for advertising and you could cut down on your work significantly- but you still worked for that money somwhere!

Not only is that a RED flag, it is also illegal. No one can Guarantee what you will make.
Unfortuanately people look for the promises that they will get rich, over night with no work on their part. If that happened the world would be rich..... this is reality, it taks work and lots of it to grow any business.

I agree that it was definitely the kind of thing you should stay away from. It is for all the oppurtunity-seekers not the real network marketing. Personally I don't want anyone to give me anything free unless it is quality information. That way I can do my own research and tests. The poor people burnt buy this company will most likely never try a real MLM company.

I've been scammed before by a similar company that used to exist called Monopolizer.com. I never saw a dime from it, and instead lost $180. This company also originated out of the UK. I believe I also saw the website for the company you are talking about but when I saw it was out of the UK and only had maybe one option for paying cost other than sending the money over seas I got the heck away from it!

morethantraffic.com, they are scammers to stay away from.

There are money games (fancier term is HYIP... High Yield Investment Portfolio) and there are businesses.
Businesses sell a product or service. As a network marketer, you market that product or service to create the sales (or you can take a sales rep role and run around selling the product yourself... either way product gets sold).
When there's talk of "just invest _____ and sit back" or "we do all the work for you"... you need to scramble to figure out what the heck the supposed product is in the first place.
If you still put your money in, I don't believe you get "scammed"... you simply lost out in the money game. It's like sitting down at a table in a casino. You know the rules and you probably also know the odds. If you choose to play, then you can't claim you got scammed.

I have come across this company's website on occasion and receive some emails. I never got involved because, as the old saying goes "if it looks too good to be true, it probably is" or something like that.
Some time ago I really got fed up with all the hype and outrageous claims of most of the sales letters and web sites I was reading. I decided I would never join another program unless I could investigate them and verify everything they claimed.
I highly recomend to everyone that you always take time to contact the owners and leaders of any program you are considering. Check out references. Does the Better Business Bureau have anything on file about them? When you talk directly with someone and ask them questions you always get a better feel as to whether they can be trusted.
Don't be afraid to use the phone. Personal contact is important to building a relationship. Starting any business from home or anywhere else takes a big commitment of time and money. Be sure you are spending both wisely.

Hi,
I've allowed myself to be scammed before, but not by companies that make outrageous claims. Like many of you, claims like these immediately set off warning bells.
The problem is, some people have learned the art of writing copy to sound sincere and on the up and up when they aren't...it's easier to allow yourself to be scammed by these.
Hmmm, I just had an idea for a helpful new thread ...

Hi Everyone,
On another post, a member was warning people to stay away from a certain company that makes outrageous claims.
I've always stayed away from companies that make these types of claims that drip with absurd hype. However, I have allowed myself to be scammed by sincere and legit sounding businesses in the past.
Does anyone have any tips for separating Scams from The Real Deal?
I'll start with one: type the url of the company along with the words "scam" , "fraud", "false" , etc. in a search engine and read anything that comes up. Do the same with the companies name, scroll down to the bottom of the page to see if there is a parent company.
Keep an open mind because even legit companies have bad reviews sometimes, read through to see who was "at fault" if there was a bad experience.

I too was scammed by a few sites, but I don't feel bad about it because I consider it a learning experience. Came across a quote recently that succinctly describes this process

One thing I am doing right is not quitting. I know that I will never succeed if I quit trying. So don't sweat it, just learn and keep going. When you are passionate about this, you will find perstistance delivers rewards. Good luck!

100K in 4 months...its amazing how some people still fall for that. The only thing about guaranteed income is based upon the advertiser and promotor making 100K in 4 months...not you.
And your ads you have at the bottom of your sig, paradigm, are really no different. I would suggest doing some research on companies before signing up for them

Simply do some research....REAL RESEARCH!!!
Look past the pictures of fancy cars, big houses, expensive jewelry, and slick advertising and do the research.
I'm not saying that all companies don't have skeletons in the closet because practically most MLM companies are going to have records of lawsuits, complaints, etc if they have been around for decades.
But you have to look at the overall picture. Are you making real money???
I was involved in Amway years ago and now I'm involved in another major MLM company. I'll admit that everything didn't go right but because I researched the company, I minimized and overcame the initial problems and have been very successful reaching a great position on their networking ladder.
You can make it in any legitimate network marketing company if you sell yourself first and then the product
