Make no mistake about it: there ARE some good trainers out there. But, before you jump into the idea that you "need to buy training"....why not actually check out the system and training that your successful upline is providing? If it's creating wealth for them....then why muddy the waters by thinking you need to go buy someone's CDs or ebooks?
You're right on the spot Tony.
But I find there are three common issues with referring to uplines for training.
Most of the time...there are very few successful uplines. Maybe say 4 successful ones out of the 400 in an organization?
Imagine how heavily taxed those 4 successful ones will be. Sometimes downlines can't get access to them for advice at all. At least that's was what I experienced.
There are very few successful uplines to take learn from.
Another issue is...VERY few successful uplines have any systems or training for their downlines, if at all. Perhaps a couple of resources pages filled with affiliate links...and that's about it.
No training system or whatsoever.
Next...and in my opinion the most common issue is that some of things successful uplines are doing is exactly duplicable.
Maybe the successful upline built his org using his talent for public speaking or ability to "charm" prospects and attract them to him. It's a life skill that's not exactly easy to learn.
