| Has any one used Max Steingart's "Make the internet your Warm Market" strategies? His website is http://www.successway.com and he teaches network marketers how to use instant messaging to find prospects and customers. Sounds very intriguing but I haven't found much information on him and his course on the internet. Does this work? Any input or comments would be welcome.

| I bought the course and in all honesty. I have not found it to be very helpful. He claims you can sponsor a ton of people that way, but in my experience even after going through the course, the people with profiles who seem like they would be good canidates never reply to my instant messages. Plus there are a lot of junk and sick porn profiles out there. It seems to me like anyone who is serious about business and network marketing is not using instant messaging.

I have had people tell me his course in similar to what I posted online.
Hoevver, I dont teach instant mesassaging.

Id like your opinion on why poeple say its like his because I looked at his and heard him on a couple of calls with John Fogg and didnt think it was much. Does he teach anything besides instant mesaging? Thats what I hear him talk about - searching profiles....

Let me preface this statement with the fact that I like some of what Max offers but I'm not a big fan of the internet chat room technique. This course is, unfortunately, one of many that promotes using chat rooms and forums to get yourself seen and heard. Unfortunately most useres fail to realize that there are protocols to most decent forums and critics around every turn in chat rooms. They miss that part of the lesson, if indeed, it is offered at all. (Max does include some basic positioning in the lesson I've heard.)
These people go in blowing their horn and yelling "look at me" instead of giving themselves an opportunity to merge into the membership and create a base of credibility to work from. End result they get beat up verbally and scarred emotionally and most will do one of two things...quit or argue.
Quitting eliminates any chance of learning from the mistake and going on to achieve goals and dreams. Arguing destroys credibility in most cases.

Chris,
I don't think what you do is anything like Max's stuff.
The only similarity might be that you both are successful at what you teach :-)
I took your advice about pictures a long time ago and have always presented our Team doing things together.
One other really smart thing I did was study how Art Jonak's team takes pictures because his Team takes the BEST pictures in Network Marketing. We've been practicing and we are getting pretty good at it. We call them "Art Jonak Poses".
Wouldn't mind your thoughts on how we are doing???
