Thank you very much, even though I have been on the internet for a ridiculously long time, I was not aware the power of forums, websites and blogs had. Excellent Article to share..

Thanks

Hello All,

As has already been expertly stated, pay attention to your blog.

I have had great success just leading people to it and then letting them make the decision to join in or just leave.

Nice and cheap!

This article in particular has helped many networkers across the world. Go here to see:

Agreed Tim.  Dirt cheap -- and enjoyable!  I've recently made the switch and started concentrating almost all my efforts toward improving my blog content and having it be the hub that everything else is fed from....

This "focusing" has made a big difference...

Hey Michael!

Great Article, all true!

Most people today are ADHD and don't know it, due to information overload. There are going to be tweaks we have to make to our marketing in 2008 to accommodate.

I sure appreciate all of the good info on the boards!

Live your Dream!

Tim

Hello All!

I am a big proponent of Mike Dillard and his Magnetic Sponsoring site.

It brings me folks that are interested in building their businesses, it produces "funded proposals" (I only contact the people that purchase, they are the serious ones).

This type of thing is what is working for me.

The next wave will be social networking i.e. my space. I suppose I better bring my 23 and 19 year old sons over to help me with that one ;)

Live your Dream!

Tim

Hello All!

Remember to target your "Target Market".

If you are involved with Network Marketing, your target market is not necessarily your friends, relatives and neighbors. They are good "practice", but most likely not your leaders.

Go to Networkers and recruit from that pool. It is the best way to get your business going in the right direction quickly.

Live the Dream!

Tim

(PLEASE....LOL).......

Any method (legal, ethical, & professional of course) which enables a closer connection of your potential customer or partner with a product or "the opportunity"....is worthwhile to pursue. In other words....don't act as you would think (from your position of "selling"), act as "they" would think in their position of "buying". Then faciliate that connection and meet that "need".

That's as good as any reason for why I always suggest people not overlook the potential of using the internet in your marketing.  Millions of people are on the internet everyday.  Why not get some of them to visit you?  Then of course....you need to follow up and close (sponsor a new rep or sell a product/service).  The possibilities are enormous.

Does that make sense?

God Bless,
Michael

Perfect sense!

I'm new to MLM.  I've only been doing online marketing (mostly affiliate) for a little over a year.  But I do see the "sense" in what you are saying.

My parasites site is the one that I am building to accomodate my MLM/NM business.  I'm focusing the site on providing help for particular issues that the products relate to.  The site is only two months old, so it's still in the early stages.

I just started building my autoresponder series that will follow up after purchases.  I see the importance of continuing the relationship.

Every new skill I learn is both exciting and scary.  :)  Wish me luck!

Absolutely! attrracting people to your online real estate or website is all about first positioning yourself in the marketplace as a consumer. Notice what gets you ticking or in the online marketing world what gets you "clicking". If you find yourself clicking for more information or maybe all the way to an order page of a fellow marketer then it is a good rule of thumb to PAY ATTENTION! Note the things that make you move forward and model these things. I'm not saying copy anything but simply model. Also, when you read articles or blogs be mindful of the amount of other readers reviewing the same content. If the number is high for the amount of time this particular content has been on the net, it is usually because there is a definate interest in the specific topic. How can you benifit? Write a similar article with a similar title.

The little things can go a long way in this business...

Hi it's  Mel again:

I just start Internet marketing about three weeks ago.  I try to think of an article idea. I started a blog, but writing an article seems overwhelming.  The C-T-P-M, what a great formula. I will keep by my side as I write my first article. Wow! I have learned something already. My sponsor told me I would. Believe me I am green.

Angela has a lot more useful internet marketing articles available on her "Online Business Basics" website.  I suggest looking them over to see what may be helpful for you.

Interesting concept. I will have to give it try myself.

I already use offline social networking as well. When you talk to people you meet while your out and about, just by talking to them you might find a prospect. I think that most people are open to new ideas and may be looking. You just never know when or where your next lead may come from.

Michael, good article, or should i say articles, excellent content and solid advice. Good luck however with dmoz. If you know a secret for getting an affiliate online mlm site listed there, i would love to hear it. I have a bbq sauce and hot sauce site that has been online for 3 years, and i have yet to get it into dmoz. And it's not an affiliate, it's my site. It was made from a template, i don't know if that hurt it or not. But my affiliate site, i have submitted to dmoz and as of yet, after 6 months, still not listed. Any ideas?

Phil,

Your affiliate site probably won't be listed by DMOZ.  They don't like those since they're "replicated" sites with affilate url coding that you don't own (company websites).  They prefer "unique" sites with their own domain name, hosting, unique content, etc.

Since DMOZ reviews for inclusion are done by humans nothig slips by them.  You really have to have all your ducks in a row.

God Bless,

michael
