I am trying to avoid spending anymore money on print adds and radio to get visitors to the site. How do I get more people to the site using the internet? People that are actually looking for what my great site offers for visitors and residents of Central Fl. alike? It has all the best dining, events, shopping, spas and culture of the erea. If you want to check it out then give me your oppinion it would be great. It's called parklifestyles.com

Hi Bronco,
I wouldn't exactly say I have "internet smarts" , but I have learned a few things in the last year or so about driving targeted traffic to your website for free. I use a sitebuilding program for my sites called SBI.
I didn't know the first thing about how to build a website, so I would never have been able to create something as lovely and "flash" as your site. However, if you look at my sites, they are all ranked well in the search engines and drawing free targeted traffic.
The reason for that is the CTPM philosophy I learned at SBI. Content-Traffic-Presell-Monetize
In order for the search engines to send you free targeted traffic, they want you to provide quality content based on keyword research. You obviously know and love the Orlando area. If you do research on the phrases people are typing into the search engine when they are looking for info about Orlando, you can then build pages using those same keywords/phrases. The engines love this and will reward you by sending visitors to your site for free.
I hope that helps. If I can help further, let me know.

You can blog about the things that are on your site. You can use social networking sites like myspace. But the idea there is to build relationships and not advertise. Join a meetup group in your home town. Create video's and put them up on web 2.0 sites like youtube. In the videos you can talk about things from your website. Participatibng in forums works well also. But the idea for all of these things is to add as much value as you can and build relationships. That will turn into word of mouth refferals as well. There are ways to optimize all of these things but it is best to just start taking some action and learning as you go.

Social networking would definitely help. Also submitting to various article databases and what-not...blogging, getting your blog on the blogroll of other blogs...
Have you thought about a PPC campaign? If you get popular you could also accept advertising from dining, shopping, and entertainment companies in your area.

You have a very nice site.
Like others have said start blogging about your site or write articles. But you need to do it in a smart way. Do some research on the keywords someone would type in to get to your site and then write articles or blog posts that focus on those keywords. Be smart where you post your articles because some seem to be better liked by search engines. Right now you can’t go wrong using http://www.squidoo.com and http://ezinearticles.com/.

Hi Bronco
Let me first say that you have a very nice site.
The internet marketing methods that come to the front would be article marketing and blogs but your audience requirement has to be very focussed on the area you are promoting.
The biggest problem will be the time it takes for this method to take effect.
You could also use free ads and craigslist for your area .I know you dont want to spend money but fliers , posters and handing out business cards are very effective and targeted.

Bronco, you have an excellent site. These guys have given you some solid advice. In addition, i suggest you check out an article, rather series of articles by Michael AKA "Freedom Fire" in the Web Marketing section, titled "beginners checklist on promoting an online business." It's very good and i'm sure you could use the information. It's chock full of ideas from free to inexpensive to expensive. The free stuff is very good. Just being in this forum will help improve your site's rank in the search engines. The back links you pick up will gradually improve your rank.

What exactly are you selling? How did you plan to make money running radio ads? If someone booked an Orlando vacation, would they not be able to get this info from their travel agent?
I think your domain name should have contained the word "Orlando" (orlandolifestyles.com)
I think i am missing something.

One thing I've noticed about your very beautiful site is that there is no way to capture the traffic you are already getting. You need a lead capture form.
The page you have set for your current home page would be a great page as the 2nd page your visitors see.
The very first thing they should see is a simple web page with nothing more than some simple direct response ad copy and a form to capture name and email. It should probably read like this:
"Experience the best Orlando has to offer. Your guide to shopping, entertainment and fine dining are just a click away. Have an experience in Orlando you and your family will remember forever."
Just fill out this form.....
What happens here is that anyone who does want to experience those things and have stories to tell when they get home will ABSOLUTELY fill out your form.
What's better is that they are also a highly qualified lead for your business.
Why? Because they took the time to read and give you their info. That's the only price for looking at your beautiful website. Remember... you are offering them something of value and it only cost them their first name and email address.
After you capture their information, you follow up with them via autoresponder and keep your service in front of them. This is where you'll need a great "Park Lifestyles Newsletter"
Drop them a line when you are running a special or whatever and one day they'll wake up and decide to do business with you. Best of luck!

Hey Bronco,
nice site! I like the design. If you want to get people that are looking for what your site offers without spending money i would highly recommend posting videos online about your offers...You can specifically target your local area and can get top 10 google rankings in as little as 24-48 hours...I use online video to get me the fastest, most trustworthy FREE traffic there is… because it works!
Ok… here are some trends: |
