I have another Google Adwords question now. I have about 3 ads running and one was going really well, until google set 7 out of 14 of my kewords to Inactive. I remembered them doing this before and that really slowed down my Click Thru Rates. In order to set them active they want $10.00
That is a little above my budget. Is there any way around this problem? Any other suggestions are also welcome also.

Randy,
It sounds like you got google slapped, 10 bucks a click is bull, that has happed to some other folks that I know, there are some ways to fix it. One thing you can do is change your domain name, but you might not have to.
If you can send me the link to your site, I can tell you how to fix it.

Randy,
I can tell you EXACTLY why you got Google Slapped. It's a self-replicating website. Google just sees it as duplicate content.
Google looks for content, they simply don't care about your traffic, they are making billions! The reason you are being charged 10 bucks a click is this, google looks for relevancy.
So there is one simple way to solve this problem, but it's going to take some work on your part to make it work.
Here is what you do, you go to Blogger.com and set up a blog that describes you, your business, all that stuff.
You then direct traffic your blog, to click on your link to your pay if forward for profits site.
If you want to do it even more effectively, tell people what they are going to get from your "pay it forward for profits" site with a little pre-sell. To pre-sell, just tell how this program of funded proposals helped you, or if you are new, you can leverage someone else's story.

I also want to say thank you to Tim.
I'm doing the same thing, and I made the mistake and made SEVEN ads, with a bunch of different low key keywords. I'm getting impressions, but no clicks. I did get the free course by Perry Marshall, and somehow I wasn't applying it correctly. I'm going to go back and do that now. Thank you for your guidance.

I wanted to give an up date on my Google Ads. I had 5 new signups in my business just today and I was puzzled where they were coming from. I checked my Google Adwords account and all of my Keywords are Active again and receiving hits. My CTR on my 3 Ads are .11%, .21% and .52% which is probably not very good, but I guess good enough to generate leads.
Has anyone heard of Keywords going from In-Active to Active with out any changes be made?

Hey Randy,
How long have you been placing the ads before you got your signups?
I have been doing mine for only about 4 days now, and I got 1 lonely hit. 
I decreased the amount of ads (7 to 4) and hopefully see a difference.

I started getting signups after 1 day. You might want to look at the number of keywords you are using. I made the mistake before of using like 500. I would use anything and everything. What I do now is use the keyword tool in google and use the ones that have the better track record over the past month. I try to use less than 20. Most of my ads have between 12 -15 keywords and lots of them are the same. For example if you use the word income, I would put it in all three ways as different keywords.
income, "income", [income]
I got this valuable information from Tim Welch who is on this forum. He is very knowledgable. When I started doing this, lots more hits and click thru's.

Read the threads in the Blog Marketing Discussion Board here and you'll find a ton of tips, insights, resources, etc. shared on Blogs.
To answer your question on frequency of posting and pinging.....in general the more the better but not more than once a day. More than once a day will risk being labeled as spamming by the blog directories and ping services. Some people do it daily..... but the average is 3-5 times a week. The key is as often as you can ....CONSISTENTLY (don't miss a beat)....with quality content folks will actually read (and maybe link to, blog roll with, or subscribe to your feed). I post and ping twice a week consistently (Monday and Thursday).....more often if I have an special article to share.

Thanks for your reply and your advice. My email is kwk77@telus.net .I do have a couple of blogs myself on blogger and squidoo. My problem in particular is how to effectively link my blog so that everyone can view it. I have keywords and use services like feedburner but I'm not sure if I am effectively putting my blog out there for as many people to see as possible. Do you have any techniques? Is there a way to track your blog to see how well it ranks on webpages or other areas online? Thanks a bunch.

Hi Krystal,
A good start would be to add the URL for your main blog to your signature file here on the forum.
Some tracking tools for blogs and websites are: SiteMeter and MyPageRank (both free services). Both have a good amount of analytics to help you improve things.
I really like SiteMeter because you can actually see from which page a visitor came from. For example, when people visit my blog from Google or Yahoo!, I can see the actual Google or Yahoo! page they came from. This helps me know what they were searching for and how well I ranked for those search terms. It'll also show you where they are from in the world, how long they visited your site, how many page views, etc. I definitely recommend utilizing SiteMeter.
Also, make sure you ping when you post. Good ping sites are PinGoat and PingoMatic. And post as often as you can, while at the same time providing useful content for your readers. The top blogs post several times a day. But not everyone has that much time for blogging of course.
Bottom line, be consistent, be honest, provide useful and interesting content, and most importantly...be yourself!

Haven't seen much posts about Adwords..
Here's a quick and easy way to set up
a viral campaign with Adwords.
In order to maximise my Adwords Dollar means
having to multiply the traffic for every clickthrough,
so instead of driving traffic to a "Thank You" page
where people are presented with another offer, I drive
the Adwords traffic from the NSP to a "Tell A Friend" page
which in turn leads them to another product.
Traffic Flow is asf:
Adwords->Name Squeeze->Tell A Friend->Presell Page->Sales product
In addition, my auto responder follows up for about 10 messages,
which allows me the best of both worlds, Viral Marketing, List building,
and Sales in the Back End.
Some people use Viral PDF branders etc..but that can be quite some
work having to get someone to write the book. Besides its
safer to save time making a push and test the market with Adwords
before embarking on other campaigns.
This method will work for anyone from newbie to expert.

Hello,
My name is Nicholas Spain. I have been Marketing on the Internet for 5 years. I have some great tips for you on Google Adwords and what words to use for your business to be unique and get the most visitors without breaking the bank. If you dont know how Google Adwords works I highly suggest going over to Google's homepage and click on advertising under the search box then click the Adwords option. Most Network Marketers using Google Adwords are using it in the worst way possible. They go for words that everyone is using such as Network Marketing, Home Business, Home Based Business, MLM, Make money with MLM etc...... the point is everyone in their mom in Network Marketing would be using these keywords to bid on. What does this mean? It means that your going to pay a hefty price for the top positions for these words and most likely not make any profit. To find great keywords for your business all you have to do is a little research. For example type in Home Business or MLM leads or Network Marketing whatever your business pertains to in a search engine. See what results come up then look for the authors names of popular products and use their names instead of just network Marketing for instance. For example I used a very well known Network Marketer Ebook Authors name that I found on amazon.com and turned out their were 56 searches a month for that keyword and no bids! This may not be very many views a month but when you add up these words they can get you really targeted traffic for cheap and get you into making profits. I personally recommend having a keyword list of at least 75-100 keywords that you can bid .20 cents and under for. Post your comments if you need any help or advice. Hello,
I have been using Google for about a year.
I have had mixed results until recently when "clicks" started to convert. This may have corresponded to the purchase of Perry Marshalls A Definite Guide....back in March.
One thing I do know you need the "tools" even before attempting to start a Google Adwords campaign otherwise you will not get off to the best possible start.
RE: Ebooks.......When visiting your local library, use the Table of Contents section of a Home Business book to get keyword ideas.

| I agree that you should use less used keywords unless you have a bottomless bank account. Using Perry Marshall's guide will make you a much better PPC advertiser as he teaches you how to optimize your ads.

Perry is good. But I have found books in my public library also very useful. There are several authors who specialize in writing good "Sales Copy"
I recommend that you have a look at a hardcopy of
"The Online Copywriters Handbook" by Robert W Bly

A hardcopy? The only problem I see with that is that things change so rapidly. I would definatley advise borrowing this sort of thing from a library if you're short of cash.
