Hi.
I made an investment for my organization and purchased a huge list of active network marketers that I can contact legally. I got lucky and now have an enormous list, too big to distribute to my downline entirely.
So I need to find an affordable autoresponder, with which I can send emails out to lists of 100.000+...and they have to accept purchased lists...
I'd really appreciate any help!

I use Isoregister and their responder. Think you can import 5000 leads at once.

You need to use a bulkmailer .. NOT an autoresponder. An autoresponder is to be used when these people request info from you. And before you just start mailing out to these people I suggest you learn how to do it properly. learn the canspam act. how email marketing works.
You start mailing out to 100K + networkers and not know what you are doing.. You may not like what happens. being these people do not know you and have not requested any info from you. You need to send them to a capture page first before they go to an autoresponder.
I have used programs such as AMS, ListSourcer, and SuperMailer. SuperMailer is my favorite. I have done over 250k+ per hour with that one.
I warn you... if yo do not follow the law you will get in trouble.

I'm looking for an email management system that will allow me to let my downline sign up prospects and when the email is sent out, it uses the name and email address of the downline member in from "from" and "reply to" fields.
Does that make sense?

This might not be *exactly* what you are looking for, but many autoresponder systems will allow you to make your email series public so that others can copy it.
So, let's say you had an email series that went out over 30 days and used several personalization fields, like the sender's name, your name, etc.
If you set it up properly, another user of that system (AWeber for example) could copy your entire campaign. Then they would be signing people up to their own list and the rest of it would fall into place as you described in your query.
The downside is that each of your downline would need to buy into the same system to have access to the emails. They would also need to have their own lead capture process to have people to send them to. Actually... I just thought of a workaround that *might* allow you to piggyback everything off of your own account. If you want me to go into detail on that let me know.
Now the upside of the downside is that you will be training your downline on how to use autoresponder systems and generate leads. This will make for more competent members of your team, which will free you up to find more team members.

Sounds like you want an autoresponder your downline can use without
paying for it. If you are paying for it, you will control the entire list...
not such a bad idea.
Some affiliate marketing scripts will do this sort of thing. Some PHP
autoreponder scripts will let you have unlimited users, no doubt.
These solutions aren't necessarily a good idea for you however. Its
best to go with an established autoresponder with high deliverability
ratings.
As mentioned, some autoresponders allow you to publish your email
series to other users of the same autoreponder.
I recommend you call around to different autoresponder companies.

Here are some of my thoughts on building a responsive optin list.
Please let me know your thoughts and comments.
It really depends on what you are trying to accomplish for yourself with your primary business.
You need to be absolutely crystal clear in your own mind what your "Why" is. This is because in order to design and implement an effective list building strategy you must target the correct market with content that will either help them solve a problem or accomplish the goal.
Providing quality, useful content on a frequent basis is critical. Get to know your market, your audience and what drives them, what motivates them.
For example, if your audience and market are other network marketers, they will NOT be interested in looking at your business. In fact, if you try to market your business to them, without offering any useful information or tools to help them build your business, you will lose almost all of your potential prospects.
On the other hand, if your target market is business opportunity seekers, you can also lose them by solely markeitn your primary business. These prospects are usually wary of scams and hype. They often do not know how to start a home based business, market online, network offline, etc.
So, no matter who your audience is, educate them by providing useful content.
That said, if you offer a system that anyone can duplicate and that system includes an easy to use autoresponder, you will attract many prospects. I market a generic funded sponsoring system that teaches people how to advertise for free and attract serious educate propsects for their primary network marketing businesses.
I use twenty-five methods each week to market this system and average 25-30 sign ups every week. The autoresponder I use is http://www.responsemagic.com.
When you take this approach, you then develop a large list of opt in subscribers and let the system weed out the tire kickers and lookers. You can then properly market your primary nrwtork marketing business to only those who have proven they are serious, educated and qualified.

One of the most powerful ways of marketing your products on the web is through the use of autoresponders. Autoresponders can be a powerful tool. You have to use them in the right fashion. Keep it short and remember you are trying to get the prospects phone number. I have signed up very few through and autoresponder. My best weapon in online is using the autoresponder to gather their information.

I am new to this forum. I have a very quick question in order to help me decide on purchasing a subscription to an autoresponder.
Has anyone heard of or used the Alpha-Mailer system? I am currently using Traffic
Wave but am interested in the features that come with the Alpha-Mailer sytem.
