There is an ingenious way that you can use the Facebook News Feed feature to promote your site / brand in a highly hyper-viral way. I've basically blogged about this.
The technique involves using a COMBINATION (this is the key) of the Facebook News Feed AND other Facebook Features (like Apps, Groups, Events etc). This cant be done with only the News Feed. You need to combine the 2 things. For those unaware, the News Feed on Facebook is the first thing and most prominent thing that users see when the login to Facebook.
The article takes you through this step by step and has some very nifty diagrams explaining things. I cant post them here...

| Excellent Blog. It's funny because I had figured this out a few months ago but couldn't really put all the different pieces together. Something else you could do is start a group and work on building trust in that group so that down the road you can invite them to some of your websites. I have been doing that with pretty good success.

Hi VishyJames,
Nice blog - something I've been doing for a while.
The other good thing about FaceBook Pages is that visitors can see the page even if they're not members of FaceBook.
This I think is very cool, as you can link back your FacePage Page knowing anyone can view it in its entirity. The only part of the page thats non-visible is the friends/fans names.
