I am new to blogging and recently created a blog on negotiation ideas at Wordpress.com. Does anyone know if we can:

1. Use adsense?

2. If we can, how is that done?

3. I have a domain name registered, so how do I transfer this address to my blog?

Lost in Seattle! Thanks

wordpress.com  doesn't allow bloggers to use adsense or any other monetization scheme.

If you have a domain name, you may opt to also pay for a hosting service (about $2/month) and download a template at wordpress.org. WIth that, you can monetize your blog.

Another option is to blog using blogger.com and monetize it using adsense and almost all types of schemes.

Good luck!

You must have your wordpress blog hosted on your own domain. Then you can find some handy adsense widgets to add to your blog. Wordpress has a lot of options and i have found is a better option than blogger.

The easiest way to set up a WordPress blog on your own domain is to get a host account that has CPanel and Fantastico. If you've got that, it's just a push button process. Try HostGator, BlueHost, or HostMonster.

You'll need to transfer your domain to your host account. They'll have plenty of support to help you through that.
