Hi everyone,
Okay...I'll admit. I know that a "blog" is basically an online journal and I even have a blog site??? A biz partner got me one for free. But I truly don't get how to use it for business, etc?
I know all of you here seemed very advanced and I don't want to take up a lot of your time educating me...so is there any type of guide or something or a "thread" you can direct me to?

Hi Kimber,
The only "thread" I know of in which to direct you to is the main blog thread here on the forums since it deals specifically with Blog Marketing itself.
However, just reading forum posts can only do one so much good. In regard to truly understanding that which you want to understand (how to use a blog for business), I suggest that you take a look at some of the actual top Network Marketing blogs on the Internet these days. That way you can see firsthand how they're structured, how they share information, and how they make money.

BTW, Kimber,
I don't think many of us would be so "advanced" if it weren't for the help of others here on the forum and elsewhere. You see, we ALL help each other. And helping each other is what it's all about!
So please, please don't worry about taking up a lot of our time and whatnot. Bottom line... if it weren't for many of us, many of us would not be here!

Don't for a second think you're "taking up our time". We're all here for each other as Aaaron said. That is EXACTLY what this Forum is about. 
To answer your question.....
There's 2 networks on http://www.Ryze.com (business networking community) called "Blogging For Business" and "Blogs and Bloggers" which have tons of great information....discussions, real experts (like my friend Priya Shah), and links for resources.

Join Ryze (it's free) and add these networks to your "list".

Hi Kimber,
you're certainly most welcome to post and ask questions when needed. Like what the guys said - we all started out basically the same way...asking questions. One day you will be more advanced than you are now and when that time comes , I hope that you will help to contribute back to this forum itself.
If you're using blogger it should be easier to use because they got a ready template for you to manipulate and since it is based on a friendly platform you don't have to worry about advice because it certainly quite popular.

Hello Michael,
First of all I want to thank you for all of your posts and help. I am new to internet marketing and I have noticed the number of helpful posts that you have placed throughout this forum. One of my mentors used to ask me a question when I was overwhelmed with the amount to learn and he would say to me "Matt, How do you eat an elephant?" I thought that it was a strange question but after thinking about it, I said, "One bite at a time." "Exactly he replied, that is how you are going to learn all of this." I could easily get overwhelmed but I am trying to take it one bite at a time. I know that blogging is effective and important and I hope to learn all that I can about it. I did join Ryze as you suggested and I joined the network blog-brandz but when I typed it blog-network, Ryze came back with "unable to fine network" Once again could you steer me in the right direction?
