Here are ten excellent ways can bloggers generate mlm blog traffic and find new readers.
What do you think? Is anyone using some of these methods?
Top Ten MLM Blog Traffic Tips
10. Write at least five major “pillar” articles. A pillar article is usually a tutorial style article aimed to teach your audience something. Generally they are at least 500 words but less than 600 and have plenty of very practical tips or advice. The more pillars you have on your mlm blog the better you will generate mlm blog traffic.
9. Write at least one new blog post per day.. Not every post has to be a pillar, but you should get those those five pillars done at the same time as you keep your blog fresh with a daily news or short article style post. it is important to demonstrate to first time visitors that your blog is updated all the time.
8. Use a proper domain name.
7. Start commenting on other blogs. Comment on blogs focused on a similar niche topic to yours since the readers there will be more likely to be interested in your blog.
6. Trackback and link to other blogs in your blog posts. A trackback is like a blog conversation. When you write a new article to your blog and it links or references another blogger’s article you can do a trackback to their entry. This leaves an abbreviated summary of your blog post on their blog entry - much like your blog telling someone else’s blog that you wrote an article mentioning them. Trackbacks often appear like comments.
A trackback leaves a link from another blog back to yours for readers to follow, It also gets the attention of another blogger.
5. Encourage comments on your own blog. Always respond to comments as well so you can keep the conversation going.
4. Submit your latest pillar article to a blog carnival. A blog carnival is a post in a blog that summarizes a collection of articles from many different blogs on a specific topic.
To find the right blog carnival for your blog, do a search at <a href='http://blogcarnival.com/.'>http://blogcarnival.com/.</a>
3. Submit your blog to blogtopsites.com. You have to copy and paste a couple of lines of code on to your blog . This will help you generate mlm blog traffic as you will get one to ten subscribers a day with this method.
2. Submit your articles to EzineArticles.com.
1. Write more pillar articles. Without strong pillar articles you may bring in readers but they will not bother to come back. Shoot for one solid pillar article per week and by the end of the year you will have a database of over fifty strong feature articles that will work hard for you to generate mlm blog traffic and more readers

Agreed....good stuff Jon.
I use some but not all of these methods --- guess I have some work to do!
In addition, I also try to post replies in blogs with high Page Ranks, linking back to my blog in the bio...works well.

Good stuff. Your overall theme maps out a healthy daily plan, that in my opinion, speaks to consistently utlizing the mentioned tactics.
I am a couple months old in the blogging world and have applied many of your suggestions. My traffic is increasing exponentially as a result.

Well said and well written! No wonder, it's from a fellow Bostonian. I was born and raised in Waltham, but my wife convinced me to move to soggy Flordia Actually, right now the weather is pretty descent.
I've been MLM'g for some time now with a company called Uri International and completely agree with your blog tactics. I get leads every week now by apply the tactics that you mentioned.
Also, use Facebooks new ad program. It's an inexpensive pay-per-click model and is producing nice results for me.

When I first got into online marketing about a year and a half ago, I didn’t have a clue what I was doing! I read a lot of stuff, and tried a little of this and a little of that, but I never got anywhere because I didn’t know how to focus on the important things and was constantly getting sidetracked. My career as an online marketer came to a halt after a couple of months. I figured I might give it a try in the future, but for the moment, I would try something else.
Now, during this time, one thing I learned was that blogging could be a way of getting traffic to my site in order to make sales or get referrals or whatever I was trying to do with that site. This intrigued me, but I wasn’t sure exactly how to do it.
Then one day I decided to try some offline work-at-home business that many believed to be a scam, but that at least one or two good reports on the Internet. However, I decided to document every move I made for the rest of the world to see, because it was nearly impossible to find anything on the Internet about it, except people asking if it was a scam. So I started a blog, explaining what I planned to do, and updating it every few days.
From my brief venture into online marketing, I knew that I had to get a link to my blog out there where people would be looking, or it wouldn’t get any traffic. I knew that once it started getting some decent traffic, it would probably get indexed on the first or second page of Google and other search engines, where even more people could find it. At the time, I had no plans of earning anything from this blog, except a few cents here and there from the Google Adsense ads I had placed at the top of the page. So I hunted up forums and other places where people could post questions about different opportunities to find out from others if it were a scam or not, and made a post telling about my blog and inviting any readers to read the ongoing commentary. I think I posted in about 5 different places.
After about a month, I had to return the product. Unfortunately, I was not able to determine conclusively if the opportunity were a scam or not. I was about to have a baby and just didn’t have time and energy to devote to it. I sent it back and got my refund and basically ended my blog.
However, people kept coming. They would write me, asking my advice about the opportunity. They would click on links I put on the page. They would go to my other blog and read it too. When I decided to work my current online marketing program, I started recommending it to anyone who wrote me asking advice, and I got one very active sign-up my first week as a result. And anyone in internet marketing knows exactly what an active sign up means!
I currently am getting dozens of visitors to my blog daily, even though I haven’t posted to this blog for over a year. This is a fine example of the power of blogging.

Jon, I just stumbled on this post of yours, and all I can say is, thank you. I am a newbie to the whole blogging thing. I am an old salt in MLM, but have much to learn about the whole online marketing thing. I can teach people how to grow a business, how to talk to prospects, and how to close. Nice list of actions to get your blog noticed.
I would like to add one thing about posting comments on other blogs. If you hope to have your link noticed by Google, make sure you are posting comments on blog that use the "Do Follow" command in their html coding, as opposed to the "Do Not Follow" command.
Most Wrodpress and Blogspot blogs have the DO Not Follow command set as a default. So, you post a comment and leave your link, but the search engines will not recognize it. Other than the valuable content you may have shared in your comment, you are spinning your wheels hoping to get a backlink.
I plan to learn more about this subject, but at the moment I would recommend you search for comments on this Do Follow and Do Not Follow subject. It could make a big difference in your SEO efforts.

| Personally, going to high traffic blogs and leaving relevant comments is an excellent way to get blog traffic. Many blog readers are bloggers themselves and will see your comments and want to go to your blog. It does take a while to generate traffic with this, but your readers tend to be more loyal this way.
