Hi all -
I've been passionate about health and fitness for over 25 years and decided to share what's worked well for me and my family.
I just launched my blog on Wordpress but need help configuring it properly. Can anyone point me to any online tutorials or suggest something that might help guide me. I'm fairly computer savvy but certainly not a web designer or programmer, evident by my site
Great to be here and I appreciate your input in advance.
Have a great day.

I completely understand how you feel! I recently setup a wordpress blog at http://www.TraceyWalkerOnline.com after switching from blogger and feel free to check out how mine turned out.
The ebook I bought and used can be found here and was about $37 bucks:
http://famured.bttb1.hop.clickbank.net
I will tell you that if you can follow directions, you will be just fine!
I hope it is as helpful to you as it was to me. I only like to recommend tools that I have actually used and this one is well worth the $37. He also gives you easy to implement advanced tips and tricks to use that the beginner won't even know about usually.
Talk with you soon!

One of the more informative sites is http://lorelle.wordpress.com/2006/08/24/one-year-anniversary-review-wordpress-for-beginners/
As far as marketing your blog http://www.jackhumphrey.com/fridaytrafficreport/ has been a great source.

Hate to say it but for folks like you (and me, too!) I think blogger is a little better. The templates are easier to tweak and the interface is much more friendly. But that's just me, and you obviously had other reasons for using wordpress, so forgive the bad advice.
Wordpress allows for some pretty cool widgets, I'll say that much...

Hi FitSmartz,
I love wordpress and I know there are many things you can do with it. There is a guy I know that I'm sure could help you, you can find him at: http://www.verbalnetworking.com/ Ask for Roy, he is great with wordpress and SEO.
Also, there is a lady named Teli that has an ebook all about Wordpress: http://www.wpaffiliateguide.com/ I hope that helps.
